I wonder how a stock rating can go down from Strong buy with a beat to a hold even sell and strong sell as I have experienced many in just past 3 months? I have used their services for more than 5 years and I think I have lost more money than making due to their crap analysis.

Zacks creates ambitions that are not fulfilled. I subscribed to Zacks to get in depth information on a number of securities. The main issue that I encountered is the mandatory subscription (an extra $$$ plus) to have access to get the real Zacks opinion and selected top ranked securities . The available information for the regular subscription is actually a neat ranked DB of securities, based upon a few parameters, and their publicly available info.

I made a follow up with stock ranking 1 for earning purposes. According to ZACKS, it is a succesful rate of 70%, but i checked for 3 weeks in a row only for rank 1 (Strong buy). The results were. Week 1: 50% accuracy. Week 2: 0% accuracy, Week 3: 0% accuracy.

Absolutely fantastic! If you stay disciplined and ignore your emotions, the techincals work.
I have been a lifetime member for years and never followed the system. I did not have good results.
Now I only trade stocks rated a 1 or 2. I also only buy on the dips. If a stock goes to a 4 or 5, it is gone, immediately.
If they miss earnings they are gone as well;unless it is one of only about 5 long term holds.

In my experience, Zacks Investment Research was extremel disappointing. I initially received an email offering a $1 trail for 30 days. However, what wasn't clearly communicated upfront was that once the trial period ended, the subscription automatically renewed at a cost of around $300. The billing process felt automatic and difficult to reserve once payment information was entered.

Beyond the pricing concerns, I did not find the stock picks to deliver the results I had for. My portfolio consistently underperformed during the time I followed their recommendations , which made the the overall cost feel even less justified.

By contrast, the only investment platform I've personally used where I was able to earn and successfully withdraw funds without fees or delays has been Bitci Stack Asset Platform. That experience was straightforward, and withdrawals were processed smoothly.

I sold a property this year and wanted to invest the money from it, but was intimidated because I'd never done it and I didn't want to lose what I had. My father told me about Zacks and briefly explained the system and I started investing using the Zacks rank. The ultimate trial really helped me to dive deeper; the emails from the different portfolio managers taught me a lot about how to look for stocks and screen for them. I've done really well on some stocks featured in the reports as well and always look forward to new reports. I've made a 13.4% return (effectively 26.8% annualized) since I started investing 6 months ago. That is way better than I was getting in a money market fund and pretty good for a brand new investor that knew nothing about investing. Some of my investments that I purchased at the recommendation of their analysts are up 60-100%! I really do appreciate Zacks and how easy you've made it for someone to start investing.

Sold my bank details and data. This is how they make money. I never invested in stocks. Just logged on and straight away my data got breached. My banks had fraudulent transactions which banks refunded but every card I take out there's always fraudulent transactions. Stay away from this site.

I have recently joined Zacks Investor Services and managed to make significant losses while S&P, NASDAQ, and Russell climbed. All these recommendations are rubbish. People like Brian Bolan should be sacked.
In 2025, Anyone who has consistently invested $1,000 in each of his recommendations must have lost at least $15,000. Instead, those who have an index fund based on NASDAQ must have gained $15000

How does Brian B. still have a job? He has been losing money for subscribers for years. Sure, he'll get a win here and there, but usually cuts loser after loser and just replaces names in the portfolios he manages, namely Stocks Under 10 and Home Run investor. Ratio of losers to winners is around 2/1 based on my personal experience.

Secondo investimento: 310.000 € a maggio 2021.
Totale a novembre 2021: 340.000 €.

Problemi: commissioni in aumento, bonifici bloccati, conto congelato.

Gennaio 2022: è diventato 𝙌𝙬𝙠𝙯𝙖.
Agosto 2022: fondi informati congelati.
Febbraio 2023: recupero completo di 340.000 €.

Bought 2 shares recommended by them on Zacks#1 Buy and ended losing money on both. All other money making shares were Not recommended by them! Thank god i didn’t subscribe with them.

Made the mistake of signing up now I can't unsubcribe to their emails or un sign up. Have to block them. Don't give them your information!

Zacks Research Pvt Ltd — My Worst Work Experience (Mental Trauma Alert)

I worked at Zacks from June 2024 to May 2025 as an Equity Research Associate, and honestly, it was one of the worst phases of my professional and personal life. What looked like an exciting role turned out to be nothing but a frustrating, mentally draining, and completely misleading job experience.

At first, I was excited thinking I’d work on equities, shares, and real analysis. But reality hit hard. Despite the fancy title "Equity Research Associate", all we had to do was write news blogs based on existing press releases from US markets. Basically, you go to a news site, pick a news on a stock ticker, and rewrite it in your own words. That’s it. Day in, day out. Monotonous, boring, and honestly — who even reads this stuff when the original PR is already available?

There were also so-called macro blogs, which were nothing but recycled content from previous reports mashed with recent news, posted every 2-3 days. Pointless. They also claimed to forecast stocks, but in reality, nothing actually worked. Every time I sat to write, I used to think — what am I even doing here?Would I ever read such a blog myself? Never. I’d scroll right past it.

Now, let’s talk about the training(or the lack of it). On Day 1, my Team Leader, the “great knowledgeable” Supriyo Bose — don’t forget his name, I repeat, don’t — Supriyo Bose — just told me to “go through the blogs” on the company' website. That was the “training.” Then suddenly he asked me to write three mock blogs overnight. I somehow wrote one and submitted it. The next day, I was insulted for not sending all three, and I was called “an arrogant girl.” I still fail to understand what was arrogant in asking for time when it was my 3rd day at work.

The daily deadlines were: submit the first blog by 2:30 PM, second (if any) by 4:30 PM, both edited. But guess what? I used to get back my edited content after 6 or 6:30 PM. Yet, if I had a 5-10 minute delay (even if the delay was due to the editor's workload), my blog wouldn’t be reviewed. This daily grind slowly turned into mental torture.

Since my first blog wasn’t perfect (of course — zero training!), every blog I wrote after that was accused of being written by AI. EVERY SINGLE ONE. I was constantly told, “You haven’t written this, AI has.” I was made to feel illiterate. (FYI, I have a First Class in M.A. Economics from Calcutta University— which, I assume, I didn’t get by just smiling at the examiner.)

Even during short breaks — if he called and I missed it — I was accused of “not working” or “roaming all day” and that someone else was doing my work. Despite submitting everything on time! Maybe it was just his own frustration of being stuck in the same company for over 17 years with no growth 😂

One day, when he was on leave and I didn’t call him to check on him, he told me I was “unprofessional” because I didn’t ask how he was. Excuse me? I’m an employee, not your friend. That’s when my real mental trauma began.

One day he accused me again of AI writing and even told me:
"Tomar gaye ki gondorer chamra ache?" (Are you shameless?) This was said in a so-called "professional" setup — and that too, by a TL.

I checked my work through 6–7 plagiarism/AI detectors, all showed my content as human-written, but he relied only on one specific tool that always flagged it as AI (wonder why?). Due to this, many of my blogs were never reviewed and got cancelled.

No matter what I did, how hard I tried, he never listened. Instead, I was insulted every day. I was treated like a servant, not an employee. Even my editor faced his rude behavior many times. He behaved like he was the only one working and everyone else was freeloading.

I was crying at night, couldn’t sleep, and this took a toll on my health. I was mentally and physically done. So finally, I directly mailed HR with my resignation. The next day he called me saying:
“Ghora dingie ghash khete gecho?”(You went behind my back?)
He was clearly upset I didn’t ask him for permission. Funny thing — he always used to say I did nothing, yet was rattled when I left. Maybe because it was peak season and if I left, he had to do the work. 🤣

And guess what? He then took 4 weeks of leave, and I, along with another team member, had to cover *his* workload too.

So here’s my honest message:*Before joining Zacks, especially the ZER department — BE AWARE. And if you’re a girl, be extra cautious.
And remember the name: Supriyo Bose. Don’t forget, I repeat — don’t.

After showing interest, Zacks sent a book which I studied with interest. However, the only way to use the info in the book is to have the Zacks Research Wizard. I signed up believing that this is what I would recieve and committed to give it a full go. Instead I received a whole lot of promotional offers and relatively useless tip type info which is no different to the spam I recive daily. I asked for money back. They offered various compromises but in the end agreed to pay back $1497. I live in UK. Some bonehead in the bank or at Zacks paid USD into my GBP account. I have now spent nearly a year of mostly unanswered emails without result. They have the details of my USD account but seem unable to actually make the payment.

Based on my MacAffe security service I’ve learned that On an unknown date, data reported to belong to Zacks.com, whose headquarters are located in an unknown country, was exfiltrated. The stolen data includes IP addresses, physical addresses, passwords, bank information, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, API tokens, usernames, full names, credit card information, and may contain other compromised user details. This breach is being publicly shared on the Internet. Even if I’ve asked Zacks.com to provide me with more details about this breach, they did not provide any justification or information: they have just said that I should not worry about and this is not inline with the normal security regulations. So far I’ve decide to stay far from this company

Zacks is a wast of time and a waste of money.
