As we are a marketplace, we do let our individual artists price their own content. We feel this is the fairest way for them to take into consideration the time, money, and equipment used to produce their work.
However, we do offer some alternative price-friendly options for our buyers with the Subscription programme. Pond5 currently offers a monthly or yearly subscription package (https://www.pond5.com/subscriptions). Subscriptions are a great option for anyone that creates with media regularly throughout the year. You can easily find the content you need without worrying about variable pricing, and your unused downloads roll over every month.
Additonally, we would recommend using our price filters on the search page if you decide to buy content from the marketplace individually. This way, you can find content within your suited price range right away.
Again as we are a marketplace for creative production, please know that the content doesn't belong to Pond5, and therefore, we can't always offer it at a lesser price.
