I had to cancel my trip for medical reasons. I asked for a refund with the mastercard insurance.
After loading all the needed documents, I've got contacted by Qover to complete the missed items.
I got a positive answer after more or less 3 weeks.

Professional, compassionate and understanding. Patiënt and effective. Much appreciated assistance in the constitution of the claim file.

We were declined a boarding for return flight as we were late to the gate (still 15min before planned departure) for the first time ever which was super stressful especially we had out 4 year old with us. It was due to issue on the road at the time we were leaving as well as heavy traffic on the road (we planned to go earlier so we hit heavy morning traffic in the end due to issues in the morning) anyway we got to the airport a bit late but still okey time, then we had issues on the airport with long delays which leaded to being a bit late to the gate from not our fault. In the end we had to purchase tickets for the same day evening flight. Made a claim for missed departure only to be told it's declined as we got to the airport still at good time (just under 2 hours before flight). I'm sorry but I didn't miss the flight and then waited with 4 year old 12 hours on the aiport (total travelling time from spain back to UK 18h) for fun and I thought that missed departure cover will at least help with some cost we had to pay. Not sure how cancellation or health related claims works but missed departure cover is a joke not a cover. Definitely won't be using this company in the future.

The marketing team were friendly, but they asked me for the same evidence many times.

Depuis le 29 juin j ai déposé un dossier complet pour annulation de voyage avec ma carte Revolut ils me redemandent sans cesse les mêmes documents et aucune étude du dossier depuis presque un mois. On me redemande des documents qu ils ont déjà et ça change tout le temps de personne.. les délais entre les mails prennent 3 à 5 jours.. un enfer

Easy to contact. Empathetic, very transparent, patient, friendly and came across as genuinely concerned.
In my case, I hadn't realised high BP was classed as a pre-existing condition, as it was managed and had been for years. They explained what to do with future trips. Made sure I had a GHIC , and sign posted me to where to apply for it.
Out call cut off and they rang me back immediately.
Really couldn't fault them.

I used Cancellation Insurance from Revolut Ultra plan. They helped me with great professionalism and all went smoothly and in time.

Really understanding and helpful. They were patient and really tried to understand my situation and have been truly fair. I recommend them without a doubt.

After having to cancel our vacation at the last minute due to medical reasons and a family death, our case was processed very quickly!

it took more almost 2 months to get the claim resolved and reimbursed. several times the same documents are requested and even some question are raised that are not linked to the date of flight claim

Had my phone stolen two weeks ago and had to use my purchase protection. Was my first time ever filing an insurance claim, so I didn’t know what to expect, but this was a very positive experience. I wasn’t sure how long it was going to take or wether my claim would even be approved, but once Qover received all the documents they needed, my claim was approved almost instantly and I got paid the full amount minus the depreciation. Separate thanks to Romane for handling my claim so quickly.

Great insurance via Revolut. AI is being used in all the best ways to get the process sped up a bit. Got quite a bit of money back after my bicycle accident that destroyed my pixel 10.

Feels Like a Scam

This feels like nothing more than an excuse to avoid paying a genuine claim. Despite providing every document, receipts, police report, video call and evidence requested, they rejected it using factual inaccuracies and unsupported assumptions. I will be escalating this to the relevant regulators and pursuing every legal avenue available.

Great experience with insurance company for Revolut, refund process for a theft case was smooth, Romane was very helpful and supportive.
