Great knowledgeable instructor made us feel at ease throughout the course

Just completed the re-qualification of first aid at work. Really good course with great trainers, special mention to John who trained us this year really nice guy and very good at covering the details and information in a friendly chatty way, putting us all at ease.

Ben was a very approachable and encouraging instructor. He kept the course engaging and interesting throughout the 3 day course.

I thought that overall the course was great. There was the right mix of physical practice to sit down learning. The use of scenarios was good, also maybe a few too many. The guidebook provided is brilliant. I feel well prepared to use my skills now.

Really enjoyed my 3 day first aid at work course. Ben our trainer made us all feel welcome and answered all our questions. He made the course interactive and in general fun. Before the course I was quite worried about how my dyslexia would effect my ability to do the course but Ben reassured me and helped me read and spell anything I needed.

Compared to previous refresher courses done in England, I found Sam made the 2-days training more engaging and less death by PowerPoint. We done more practical work either in groups, pairs or with the mannequins which encouraged more engagement instead of spending long durations behind the desks. Sam was witty throughout and made the course enjoyable compared to previous experiences which I found boring, plus we learnt about topics that I haven't seen done before.

Ben taught real emergency experience as a first responder to make scenarios authentic. Which helped me to build my confidence while it helped me to successfully remove the fear of intervening in public health crises. Every participant received dedicated time with modern CPR manikins and other training kit. Again very good all round
