Horrible customer service ordered a hat. The hat was delivered by fedex and on of their co tractors. The hat was delivered to the wrong address. Told new era they said they are not responsible and use trusted carriers for delivery. I reach out to fed ex no help. I put in my tracking number and fed ex says a contractor made the delivery and i must file a claim with the contractor. I reach out to fed ex and new era for the delivery contractor and no response and no refund. Do not order hats from new era and try to avoid fed ex

Sent me someone else's package, and failed to offer any kind of real resolution. Asked me to ship it back and order the same hat again. Terrible customer service, seems like it's just AI bots. They also use the worse shipping possible (fedex smart post)

Never again buying hats online. I spent a good amount of money and majority of my hats came ruined.. bought 12 hats and they shoved them all in one tiny box. So you might understand my frustration. Cause all of em came squooshed. Just ruined.

I purchased a hat from new era that was delivered to an incorrect address. I have 24 hour video surveillance that proves it wasnt delivered , yet new era declined to honor the transaction. They don't have a phone number so you're forced to email back and forth. I'd advise anyone to steer clear of this company and their fraudulent practices. And if you insist on purchasing then make sure you have video proof of delivered and non delivered items. These people will never get any more of my business.

Ordered early September, it's now more than a month later and it looks like they've totally lost my order.
Looks like I'm not the only one who has experienced this, what a absolute ripoff... Tools.

Ordered 6 hats, only 4 arrived. Messaged the company and was told their distribution centered verified my order when the shipment was processed. They then recommended taking it up with my credit card company. No attempt to make amends or set things right. No ability for me to speak to anyone. The 4 hats I got are fine, but now I’m out 2 hats and $35. Awful customer service and quality control.

Customer service is nonexistent. It takes them forever to ship an item out, and their carriers can’t deliver anywhere close to the timeframe specified. It’s 2026, and if you can’t pick a hat and put it in the box within 24 hours, you don’t deserve to be in business. Furthermore, everything is AI generated, no phone service, and no real response to emails. Just pre-written bs. Shop elsewhere.

They sent 2 hats that were poorly made. One was a corduroy Giants hat that was 1/8 of an inch too small when measured, but I took the stickers off before I tried it on and they would not make there manufacturing error correct. The second was a White Sox Vatican flag hat, that the Vatican flag was only half glued on and came off after I wore it one time 1 day after receiving it. Again they denied fixing or replacing the item because it was worn. Poor customer service, it seems you get an AI only no human interface just too bad for you and the money gave us. Done with this company.

Just bought the new Salute To Service Raiders hat and I'm very disappointed. I am 66 years old and have been buying New Era caps for many years and the ones they sell now are very cheaply made. This is what you get when you move operations from USA to China and you charge more for a less superior product.
I will never buy another New Era cap again.

Returned item. Stuck in a Warehouse for a week. Emailed them for update and ignored for another week. Called to see what was happening. Told I had to wait 14 days it was 13 days. Guy on the phone huffed puffed and sighed throughout the whole phonecall. Won’t ever order from them again.

The first order I placed never showed up and customer service brushed me off until 17 days had gone by. I finally got a response, and I did get a refund. I placed another order, received that order, but both hats were garbage. One hat had the headband sticking out the bottom so it looked like I was wearing a do rag or skull cap underneath. On the other hat, the bill was sewn on crooked and off by 1/2”. Customer service said I had to return the hats, but they would not send me replacements. On both orders they gave me refunds, but I had to eat $16 in shipping charges for problems I didn’t create. They didn’t offer to do anything to make it right. They wasted my time and money. I’ve been a lifelong customer of their hats, but I don’t know what is going on over there. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company.

Worse place to buy a hat online ever!!!!! My $50 hat was delivered to a wrong address and no one will do anything about it, so now im just out $50!!!!!!! I will NEVER RECOMMEND OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Order for two caps supposedly fulfilled and shipped Aug 3, now August 21 and never delivered. Contacted customer support daily via chat and email with just one response to give the delivery carrier more time. Fedex tracking is random, PA, then CA, then NC and stopped for 5 days. Requested a refund or expedited replacement with no response. They simply ghost you.

Hope nobody used the site from 9/25(most likely months before to 1/29/26( range of time that this was found) NewEraCap ignored my FREE warning that their site was vulnerable to fake login panel, session hijacking, credential exfiltration from a fake login(if you met a weird login that didn't work change your info). AMONG MUCH MORE. Along with an email giving away users private details. That was ignored for months until I had to publicly release. I sent at least 4 emails, to 4+ different sources of contact FOR THEM. They only fixed the vulnerability after I posted it. Zero acknowledgement, they could have said " Oh god yes send the report" and DONE. They chose to ignore me while trying to help you guys who buy from them. Trash company, doesn't have any through system to investigated/ not ignore a user support email to admins, tech, support. Much more they are unaware of yet don't appreciate. Have a good business run. I outta contact sponsors/vendors. Not lying I can prove all of this for anyone questioning. I tried all official channels to include bounty websites to contact. Not even a security.txt file. Wow. Also note I contacted their UK company to try to help the US site as the UK version clearly has a better setup. Nothing....

The hat I received was poor quality with the logo on the hat not centered. New Era refused to do anything about it. Will not purchase online from them again.

You sent me the wrong product. I cannot spend hours trying to communicate with you. The description online is different than what I received. I waited a long time for the cap and am disappointed with what you sent.

Never, ever purchase from New Era. They oversold limited edition Knicks merchandise (we bought within 34 mins of the championship) and they quietly tried to refund us weeks later because they ran out of the product. This merchandise is of course no longer available. Their solution- a 25% off coupon and free shipping on a future order! There won't be a future order with this lying company. I hope the other hundreds or thousands of other fans they completely screwed boycott this company too.

I ordered a hat from the New Era website. It was eventually marked as delivered, but it was nowhere in my building. The tracking shows the package ended up in upstate New York, skipping right over Manhattan entirely. I explained this to New Era customer service, and they told me there's nothing they can do.

I originally ordered a hat because it showed as in stock. New Era later removed it from my order, refunded only that item without reason, and shipped the rest of my order. The hat still showed as in stock online, so I ordered it again.

This time, I paid for expedited shipping because I needed the hat by the end of the week for my son to where to an out of state game we were going to attend. When the order still had not shipped, I contacted customer service and was told expedited shipping only begins after New Era’s separate 3–5 business day processing window. That information was not stated at the time of checkout unless you searched and read their shipping policy. Also, this is not how online shopping is typically interpreted.

Now it is business day 6 — beyond even their stated processing time and beyond the excuse I was given — and the hat still has not shipped. I also replied two days ago explaining the situation and asking for help, and I have received no meaningful response.

The issue is not just the delay. It’s that the same in-stock item failed twice, I paid extra for expedited shipping, their checkout process did not make the timing clear, and customer service has shown no urgency in helping fix it.

I would not recommend ordering directly from New Era if you need something by a specific date.

My wife purchased a cap from New ERA as a birthday gift. She purchased a 7 7/8” cap which is supposed to be 62.5cm. It actually measured 60.5cm and did not fit. Because we were a couple of weeks past the 30 day window, NewERA was unwilling to help in any way. I understand we were outside the 30 days however we did not wish to return because we didn’t like the product. We requested an exchange due to an error made by New ERA. We certainly will not buy from this company again and I would suggest caution if you are considering a purchase too!
