I am writing to formally complain about the delivery service for my recent order.Unfortunately, my parcel has been significantly delayed due to two failed delivery attempts:First attempt: The driver reported that they could not locate my address.Second attempt: The driver again claimed they could not find the address, but they did not attempt to ring my doorbell or contact me, despite me being at home.This experience has been very disappointing!

Ordered a week ago, didn't get delivered , when I called a few times personel were NOT interested in trying to track it or find out the problem!, they said after me insisting they would, and would call me, I had no call and now it is being returned to them, I bought from another supplier now and they will lose out on continued business

Good afternoon Paul,
We're sorry to hear there were some delivery issues with your recent order.
We can see that this order was placed online on Monday the 10th of August and it was dispatched by us on the same day with DPD on their next day delivery service.
This should have reached you on the 11th August, however as you've already conceded in your email communication you accidentally entered an incorrect postcode on the order that did not match the shipping address - You keyed in SW17 XXX whereas the postcode that matches the address you specified is actually E14 XXX.
This created a delay with the courier as the consignment was sent to the delivery hub for the postcode you specified rather than the address you wanted and then had to be re-processed when that mistake was identified.
We would like to clarify that rather than being ordered a week before the date of this review it was actually ordered 3 days before and should also respectfully highlight that the reason for the issue with the courier is because you made a mistake and gave an incorrect postcode.
We do however agree with you that the courier should have sent the consignment to the revised postcode once the mistake had been identified rather than returning to sender and we've raised that with them as a concern.
We've also reviewed your communications with our team on this and they all appear to have been courteous and focused on finding a solution for you.
For example the response when you requested a cancellation and refund yesterday is pasted verbatim below:
"Good afternoon, Paul,
Please accept my sincere apologies for the issues you’ve experienced with this delivery.
As advised at the beginning of the week, the incorrect postcode was submitted when the order was originally placed, which resulted in the first delivery attempt being unsuccessful. This was then amended to the correct address, meaning the parcel was sent to a different depot for processing.
Unfortunately, there appears to have been an issue on DPD’s side and, instead of the order being sent out for delivery to you yesterday, it was incorrectly relabelled and returned to sender.
I am processing the refund for you now. Please allow 3–5 working days for the funds to be returned to your account, depending on your bank.
Once again, I sincerely apologise for all the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding."
We do fully appreciate that it's frustrating to wait for longer than expected for an order and we also share your frustration with DPD on this occasion.
We would hope in turn that you would recognise that it had not been a week since you placed the order as you've stated here, that the issue ultimately did result from a mistake on your part with the postcode, that our responses to you were courteous and timely and that although DPD's decision to return to sender rather than re-route the consignment is undoubtedly frustrating that was not a decision that was made by Dental Sky.
We do of course agree that we have a level of responsibility for the service level provided by our courier partners but as someone in business we hope that you can also appreciate that it's not always possible to fully control the actions of service providers as much as we all would like.
Apologies once again that this order did not go as expected and if there's anything else we can do to improve your experience please let us know.

We're sorry if you feel you've received too many emails.
Unfortunately we don't have any details of you on record so can't double check what has been sent but as a general comment:
We only use one dedicated system for marketing emails - Promotions, Offers etc - and that system physically can't send anything without there being a subscribe request in the first instance and anything that is subsequently sent has to have a prominent unsubscribe button.
If that button is clicked/pressed then our system physically can not send you any more marketing emails - We have no way of overriding that unsubscribe click.
So on the face of it your comments are a perhaps a little confusing to hear.
Perhaps you mean transactional notifications? Things like account opening confirmation, order acknowledgement, dispatch notification, tracking number from the courier and invitation to review?
If so then we're not sure exactly what the specific objection is to which notification as those are all standard elements of best practice communication when placing orders online.
As we say we can't identify you from the information in this review or see what you've received but if you would like to provide us with identifying information then we'll certainly look into the detail of your issue for you.
Apologies once again if you had any trouble unsubscribing - It's pressing one prominent button in the email footer but if you'd sent an email we would have happily done it manually for you if you'd missed that.
