Last week’s Global All Hands was a solid reminder of what makes GetYourGuide work: momentum, curiosity, and cross-functional teams pulling in the same direction. A few of the highlights from this H1 business review: ⭐ Nils shared some key financial highlights, including our record-breaking week in early August. 1M bookings, with roughly 2 bookings per second on peak days. ⭐ Our Q&A was hosted by Head of Central FP&A, Roos ter Heijne, who brought energy, humor, and directness to every question. ⭐ Data Engineer Marianna D. introduced GetYourGuide’s new conversational analytics AI tool. Ask a data question in plain language, and it returns analysis with a confidence score, curated metric definitions, and warnings when data isn’t validated yet. Marianna’s demo stole the show, and we left buzzing about the possibilities. Last week, we co-hosted a pre-Hatch Conference mixer at our Berlin HQ. It was a candid night packed with real stories from our Product Design team, and a chance to network with industry experts ahead of the main event. This month, GetYourGuide formalized a memorandum of understanding with the Seville City Council ( Turismo de Sevilla + Ayuntamiento de Sevilla.). This framework represents a joint commitment to protecting the city's cultural heritage and promoting sustainable tourism practices. Building on our approach to preserving historical sites across Europe, this collaboration focuses on developing concrete strategies to manage visitor flows and support local conservation efforts. Working directly with local authorities allows us to ensure that the continued interest in travel benefits local communities. Toni Bennasar recently joined Angie Moreno Ramón to mark this milestone.
