Huge congrats to our Creative Studio for landing second place at the Higgsfield AI x ADWEEK Adathon, up against global agencies and production houses. The brief was a fully AI-produced ad, and they nailed it. 🥈 Big shoutout to Helen Broering, Viola Vogel, Nishant John, Nico Inverardi, João Caetano, Anastassia Saromova and Dmitrii Tikhonov. 💚

🥈 Second place in the Higgsfield x ADWEEK Adathon goes to Taxfix! Their in-house Creative Studio in Berlin went from idea to finished film in just 10 business days. Half that time went into ideation, finding a refreshing, fun concept for a tax brand. The team put particular care into the characters, locations, and prompts. They also explored camera movements and perspectives that would have been difficult to achieve in a traditional production, including a shot through a door’s peephole and a dog vomiting directly into the camera. When a direction wasn’t working, they started over rather than endlessly tweaking a shot they weren’t happy with. Huge congratulations to Helen Broering, Viola Vogel, Nishant John, Nico Inverardi, João Caetano, Anastassia Saromova and Dmitrii Tikhonov on taking second place. Watch their film below 🎬

📣 Claude Conversation at Taxfix  Last week, Taxfix hosted Berlin's first Claude Conversation, part of an initiative by Anthropic and organised by Claude Community Ambassadors. The format brings together people from different backgrounds to share their perspectives on AI. More than 400 people registered, for only 50 places that were available, to discuss one central question. AI: what are we afraid of, and what do we want instead? Across the evening, participants put more than 10 concrete ideas on the table: AI and work-life balance, equal access, AI literacy, education, information asymmetry, governance, and responsibility. Manuel Großmann, Senior Principal Designer at Taxfix, shared some thoughts on taxes and AI, two topics that might seem abstract at first but shape people's everyday lives in concrete ways. Selected ideas from the evening will feed into the Impact Lab, a full-day Claude hackathon hosted by Taxfix in October. We can't wait to see what gets built! Many thanks to the Claude Ambassadors Navid Ghayazi, Goda Go, Mehul Patel, Yair Etziony and Kazik Pogoda for organising the event, to Carolina Marques for moderating, and to Rose McCullough for helping make the evening happen at Taxfix.

Over the past several weeks, we've been sharing what it looks like to be a builder at Taxfix, one story at a time. From the start, we were clear: being a builder is not a title. It's not a function. It's a way of working. It means being energised by new problems, not intimidated by them. It means shipping something before it's perfect, and learning from it fast. 🚀 As we close out this campaign, we want to zoom out, because the most important thing we've seen through these conversations isn't just the tools being built or the workflows being automated. It's the environment that makes it all possible. That's what Francesca Di Valerio, our Operations Automation Manager, helped us understand most clearly. Read the full story below. 👇

If you've been following our Builder Profile series, we've been showcasing the people at Taxfix who take ownership, tackle problems head-on, and build solutions. This week, we're highlighting Matt Chaplin, our Senior Customer Success Manager who handles debit and payment explanation tickets. A year ago, Matt wouldn't have called himself a builder. He was someone who processed tickets, hundreds of them, each one taking about four minutes to work through manually. 📋 Then something shifted. Not a big announcement. Just a colleague showing him a workflow tool, and a question that changed how he sees his job: what if you didn't have to do this by hand? 💡 Matt built an AI tool that pulls the right data, drafts a personalised response, and surfaces it for a human agent to review and send. What used to take up to 90 minutes of his day now takes almost none. ⚡ But the real lesson wasn't about the tool. It was about the 80% rule: ship when it's good enough, learn from real use, and iterate. Waiting for perfect means never starting. 🚀 At Taxfix, we've moved from a culture where changing a process felt impossible to one where anyone, regardless of team, can build their own solution. That shift has given people like Matt something unexpected: the scope to think bigger. 🌱 Is there someone on your team who doesn't wait for perfect, just ships it, and keeps improving? Tag them below. 👇 #BuilderMindset #AI #Taxfix #LifeAtTaxfix

The builder spotlight continues, and this week we want to shout out Hyejin Ryu.✨ She started by renaming a button and didn't really stop from there. A full account settings redesign, a shipped experiment to validate it, workshops bringing other designers into AI-assisted coding and Olanrewaju Abolarin as the steady hand making sure momentum never came at the cost of code health. She was once afraid to touch production code. Now she runs the workshops on it. 🚀 👉 Check out her journey below.

This week, we're kicking off our Builder Profile series, spotlighting some of the exceptional builders here at Taxfix. A builder is someone who sees a problem, breaks it down, and gets to work on solving it, no matter their role or seniority. First up: Moritz Siebenhaar. Every week, the Legal team lost hours manually tracking regulatory change across every market Taxfix operates in. Moritz built an AI-assisted workflow to fix it, and now the legal team uses it to stay ahead of relevant changes. Read the full story below. Want to become a builder? Check out our open roles, we'd love to chat: https://lnkd.in/eg_aGJ-T #BuilderMindset #LifeAtTaxfix

What is a builder? You know one when you work with one. At Taxfix, we want everyone to be a builder - and we've gotten specific about what that actually means. It's not a title. It's not a function. It's a way of working. 🔨 It means being energised by new problems, not intimidated by them. Saying the difficult thing the same way, whether you're talking to a peer or the CEO. Shipping something before it's perfect and learning from it fast. ⚡ Over the next 6–8 weeks, we're sharing what this looks like in practice - one builder at a time. 🚀 Swipe through to see what being a builder at Taxfix really means. Stay tuned for our first story next week! 👀 #Taxfix #BuilderMindset #LifeAtTaxfix

What a time to be part of Taxfix. 🎉 Ten years ago, an idea started in Berlin: taxes shouldn't be something people dread. A decade later, that idea has grown into a team that spans countries, cultures, and time zones – all working toward the same goal. What better way to celebrate this huge milestone than to get all our teams from London, Madrid, Tallinn, and Stuttgart together in Berlin. 🌻 In true Flower Power meets Woodstock spirit, we celebrated the way this team does best: full color, full energy, all in! A boat ride down the Spree, an afternoon at freiheit fünfzehn in Köpenick, Berlin:  paddleboarding, games, amazing food, and even better company. ⛴️ Ten years of building something that matters, celebrated with the people who built it. Here's to the next ten. 🥂 #LifeAtTaxfix #10YearsOfTaxfix

Last Thursday, we had the kind of conversation #Pride was built for. 💚 Together with our friends at On, we hosted Pride in Community, a panel on the things the LGBTQ+ community knows well but doesn't always get to say out loud: the cost of code-switching, what it means to carry multiple identities at once, and what it feels like when you finally get to just be yourself. We finished with networking, tie-dye and gelato outside. Turns out a good conversation is hard to end ☀️ A huge thank you to our panelists Flavia Melon, Gemma Mackle, Olha Danylchenko and Andres Morales for your openness, vulnerability and courage in sharing your stories. And to On for being such wonderful partners in this. Pride has always been a collective act. Events like this are proof that community isn't just a nice word. It's something you build, conversation by conversation. Happy #PrideMonth 🏳️🌈
