Cloud Identity offers a free edition and a premium edition. The premium edition is not required to use Google Cloud; however, it has additional features not offered by the free edition.

Billing for the premium edition of Cloud Identity is processed as part of your Google Workspace subscription, not through Google Cloud. To learn more, see the Google Workspace documentation.

By default, the free edition of Cloud Identity provides 50 user licenses. If you need additional free licenses, you can request them at no cost by completing the following steps:

1. Sign in to the Google Admin console with your organization's administrator account.
2. Ensure you are signed out of all other accounts.
3. Complete the Google Workspace support request form to request additional licenses.
