PRIME is the yield-bearing receipt token of the Hastra protocol, designed to bridge the gap between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). It serves as the primary vehicle for users to capture higher-tier yields from Figure's Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) portfolios.

Value moves through the system as borrowers pay interest on their real-world loans, which is then captured by the protocol and distributed to PRIME holders. The token is 'put to work' primarily as a liquid staking token; by holding PRIME, users automatically accrue rewards that reflect the performance of the underlying lending pools. As the Hastra ecosystem grows and more loan portfolios are integrated, the scalability of the yield mechanism increases, providing a diversified stream of income that is decoupled from standard crypto market volatility.
