Summary

[edit]
English: This is a modified version of the CIA Bolivia map. Some geographical features have been deleted for simplicity and the area where Aymara is spoken has been superimposed. The data has been taken primarily from Promotora Española de Lingüística (http://www.proel.org) and from Aymara Uta (http://www.aymara.org). The region indicated includes most (estimate 90%) of Aymara speakers. Within this region the majority are located near La Paz/El Alto.

This linguistic map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Aymara-Language-Distributio.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
