Thank you for your reply, but this is not an acceptable explanation.
Relying on a single email that your system "confirms was delivered" is not enough. I did not receive that email, and the responsibility to reach me does not end with one automated message. Proper follow-up should have been made by phone or otherwise before treating my silence as agreement.
To be clear, implicit consent is not valid and does not constitute my consent. Nothing was renewed with my written approval, and without that approval there was no agreement to renew. You charged my card and took money without my permission.
I may well have had other arrangements in place. Instead of confirming with me, you proceeded in the way that was most convenient for you, with no regard for what worked for the client.
For the record, I have already emailed customer care and called the number provided. To date I have seen no cooperation, no remedy, and no action of any kind.
I expect this renewal to be cancelled and the amount charged to be refunded. Please confirm in writing how and when this will be resolved.
