Outstanding service from start to finish. The survey was booked and completed surprisingly fast, and the final report arrived much sooner than expected without cutting any corners. This looks like a very thorough report, more than I expected. The service was prompt & courteous & I was kept informed throughout the process.

The pre booking process really good but there were few issues with non communication due to emails not arriving and I had to chase up on this. However the surveyor was very good and the report was what we expected and it was delivered really quickly so that part was excellent.

Very easy and straightforward

I commissioned a RICS Level 2 survey before purchasing my property. After moving in, I found defects which I believe were either clearly visible at the time of inspection, appeared to be longstanding, or were materially more serious than reflected in the report. Some affected the security and safe use of the property and have required significant remedial work.

One example was the garage door, which the report described as being "slightly distorted and can be redecorated." In my view, that materially understated its condition. The door was visibly misaligned, did not close fully, had damaged latching arrangements, and presented a security concern.

When I raised these concerns, the responses focused on the general limitations of a RICS Level 2 survey, including representative testing, the non-invasive nature of the inspection, and the possibility of defects arising after the survey. I understand and accept those limitations.

My concern was never that every defect should have been identified. It was that defects which I believe were visible at the time of inspection, appeared to be longstanding, or were materially more serious than described in the report, were not addressed individually in the response.

As the firm has advised that it now considers the complaint closed, I will now need to refer the matter for independent review through CEDR. I will update this review once that process has concluded.

Great service- booked in the survey the same week, and has the report same day. Great communication and easy to work with.
