Very disappointing experience. I never received the VIN report because of their technical issue. They refunded the €1.99 and confirmed my subscription was cancelled, but a few days later they still charged me €49.99. Customer support refused to refund it. Be careful before using this service.

Unbelievable experience. I was charged €49.99 out of nowhere for a feature/subscription I never explicitly agreed to. Extremely misleading service and horrible customer practice. Do not attach your card to this app unless you want unexpected charges!

I used car-buddy.co to purchase a vehicle history report for €1.99. The checkout page showed €49.99 crossed out with €1.99 — making it look like a one-time discounted purchase. There was no checkbox to confirm subscription consent, and the subscription terms were buried in tiny text under the "Check out" button.

The confirmation email I received contained only login credentials — no mention of any subscription, recurring price, trial period, or cancellation instructions.

7 days later, €49.99 was charged to my card without any 3DS authentication or prior notice. I never visited the site that day.

The billing network involves multiple domains: car-buddy.co (frontend), aibeast.co (billing), vin-support.co ("support") — all operated by Diogenes Marketing LLC, Casper, Wyoming, USA.

Note the inconsistency: the checkout page shows €49.99 as the "regular price", the pricing page shows $29.99/month, and the FAQ mentions $5 for a trial. Three different prices across the same website.

I have filed a chargeback with my bank and reported this to the FTC. Avoid this service.

Verstecktes Abo und unbrauchbarer Fahrzeugbericht

Ich habe 0,99 EUR für einen einzelnen Fahrzeughistorienbericht bezahlt. Der Bericht enthielt keinerlei brauchbare Informationen zum Fahrzeug. Er war einfach leer!

Genau eine Woche später wurden ohne meine bewusste und eindeutige Zustimmung weitere 49,99 EUR für ein angebliches Abonnement abgebucht. Das Abo und die wiederkehrende Zahlung wurden während des Bestellvorgangs nicht transparent dargestellt.

Mein Fall entspricht exakt dem Muster, das bereits viele andere Kunden schildern: zunächst eine Zahlung von 0,99 EUR und kurze Zeit später eine Abbuchung von 49,99 EUR für ein verstecktes Abonnement.

Nach meiner Erfahrung kann ich nur dringend davor warnen, car-buddy.co zu nutzen. Prüft außerdem sofort eure automatischen PayPal-Zahlungen und sichert alle Zahlungsbelege, E-Mails und Screenshots.

Finger weg von Car Buddy! Hierbei handelt es sich um eine systematische Abofalle und ein in meinen Augen kriminelles Geschäftsmodell.

Die Faktenlage:

Der Köder: Man kauft einen angeblich vollständigen Fahrzeug-Historienreport für 0,99 € via PayPal.

Die Falle: Nach genau einer Woche werden plötzlich 49,99 € über PayPal abgebucht. Im gesamten Bestellprozess gibt es keinen transparenten Hinweis auf dieses Abo. Am Zahlungs-Button steht lediglich „Gesamtbetrag heute: 0,99 €“. Das ist ein massiver Verstoß gegen die in der EU geltende Button-Lösung. Ein gültiger Vertrag kommt hier nicht zustande.

Die Leistung: Der gelieferte Report für die anfänglichen 0,99 € war in meinem Fall inhaltlich völlig nutzlos und enthielt offensichtlich erfundene Daten. Auch der Login auf deren Portal ist nonsense, denn dort steht beim Report nur "prozessing".

Verschleierung: Die Firmennamen im Hintergrund (z. B. Aydemir Limited) sowie die Absender-E-Mails rotieren ständig, um Spuren zu verwischen. memberATvin-support.co, infoATcar-buddy.co, bei Paypal widerum ist eine ganz andere Adresse hinterlegt, supportATpdfbee.co

Mein Rat an alle Geschädigten (Was du jetzt sofort tun solltest):

PayPal-Einzug stoppen: Gehe in dein PayPal-Konto unter Einstellungen > Zahlungen > Zahlungen im Einzugsverfahren verwalten. Suche nach Aydemir Limited (oder der jeweiligen Briefkastenfirma) und entziehe sofort die Berechtigung für weitere Abbuchungen.

Käuferschutz einschalten: Eröffne bei PayPal sofort einen Konflikt. Verschwende keine Zeit damit, den Support von Car Buddy anzuschreiben – das ist reine Hinhaltetaktik. Lade Screenshots vom Checkout hoch, die beweisen, dass dort nur 0,99 € standen.

Anzeige erstatten: Mach online bei der Polizei eine Anzeige wegen Betrugs (§ 263 StGB). Das dauert 10 Minuten. Nimm das polizeiliche Aktenzeichen und trage es in deinen PayPal-Konflikt ein. Das erzeugt massiven Druck und beschleunigt die Entscheidung zu deinen Gunsten. (Meine Anzeige läuft bereits unter dem Aktenzeichen 260708-1057-iXXXXX bei der Polizei NRW).

Lasst euch das nicht gefallen, geht direkt über PayPal und blockiert diese Abzocke!

Scam. It doesn't provide any real vehicle data—just generic technical information that could be inferred from the VIN. I paid expecting an actual vehicle history report, but there was no useful or specific information at all.

Biggest scam!! They deliver nothing but charge you a montly fee of 49,99…. When you send them an email an AI agent is responding.

Das ist echt eine s.ch.e.i.ß Plattform es sind Betrüger bitte die Finger weglassen da sind versteckte kostet nicht 0. 99 Cent sondern 45€ sofort eine Abo tust du abschließen besser ist carvertikal da bis du gut gesichert

Total scam site. I paid 0.99 EUR for a single vehicle history report. They never delivered the report; it stayed as "Processing" forever. Exactly one week later, they automatically charged my card 49.99 EUR for a hidden monthly subscription. When I contacted support, they refused to refund my money. I had to freeze my credit card and file a fraud dispute (chargeback) through my bank. Avoid car-buddy.co at all costs!

Abofalle!!! Auch ich bin drauf reingefallen. Wollte mir Informationen zu einem Gebrauchtwagen holen und habe 0,99 EUR fuer einen Report bezahlt. 1 Woche spaeter werden mir erneut 49.99 EUR von Aydemir Limited abgebucht - keine Ahnung fuer was. In der Rechnung stand auch nur was von 0,99 EUR, kein Hinweis auf Abo oder einen sonstigen Kauf. Die Rechnung wurde von vin-support ausgestellt. Case bei Paypal eroeffnet. Kann nur jedem raten keinen Report zu kaufen! Meiner hat so gut wie keine Informationen zu dem Wagen enthalten - war absolut nutzlos. Ergaenzung: der Support antwortet als PDF Support (Email: supportatpdfbee.co) Was hat der VIN Report denn bitte mit PDF zu tun??

NACHWEISLICHER BETRUG, FINGER WEG!
Ich wollte eine VIN Auskunft für ein neues Auto einholen und habe dieses Angebot über Carbuddy für 0,99€ in Anspruch genommen und auch eine VIN Auskunft erhalten - auch wenn diese absolut unbrauchbar war.
Die Zahlung via PayPal ging an Aydemir Limited, mit Kontakt: support at pdfbee.co - komisch, aber ok... Der VIN Report kam von vin-support.co was auch komisch war, weil ich diese Seite nie besucht habe - die gibt es im Übrigen auch nicht...
1 Woche später wurde mir vom selben Empfänger 49,99€ abgebucht und da wurde ich stutzig. Der einzige Hinweis, dass es sich um Carbuddy handelt war die extra dafür erstellte eMail Adresse (unbox.at sei dank).
Ich habe von vin-support auch eine "Rechnung" erhalten, wo eindeutig die 0,99€ und keine weiteren Kosten aufgestellt wurden. Also von allem Screenshots gemacht, bei PayPal einen Fall eröffnet und der Hinweis vom Verkäufer auf der Problem-Seite lässt schon tief blicken: "Disputes can take months to be resolved.
Reach out directly to paypal at help-centre.co to get a refund and
resolve your issue in 15 minutes." -> DARAUF AUF KEINEN FALL REINFALLEN -> ebenfalls per Screenshot an PayPal weitergereicht und binnen 1Stunde habe ich meine 49,99€ zurück erhalten!

No Report, No Refund, and an Unexpected Monthly Charge

I purchased a vehicle history report from CAR-buddy, but I never received the report I paid for. To make matters worse, they later charged me a monthly subscription fee that I did not agree to.

I contacted the company and requested a refund, but they refused to return my money—even though I never received the original service I purchased. It is unacceptable to charge someone for a report they did not receive and then have the nerve to charge an additional monthly fee.

The subscription and recurring billing were not clearly explained during the checkout process. Had I understood that I was being enrolled in a monthly subscription, I would never have entered my payment information.
I am extremely disappointed with this company’s billing practices and customer service. I strongly advise others to be very cautious before using CAR-buddy or providing them with any payment information.

I purchased a one-time VIN report from car-buddy.co on June 15, 2026. One week later, I was charged 49.99 EUR without any prior notice or email warning. I never agreed to any subscription and was never clearly informed of recurring charges during checkout. I never received any confirmation email from them — which they themselves state they will send in their own Terms and Conditions.

When I contacted their support, they refused to issue a refund, claiming their terms don’t allow it. However, their own terms list a recurring price of $29.99 USD — not 49.99 EUR. The amount and currency don’t even match their own pricing.

This is a deceptive business practice. Avoid this site.
