During these 10 weeks, I had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the social media team at DAZN, which was an amazing experience. I worked on: · Content creation: brainstorming, research, scripting, editing & posting. · On-site content production: from planning to execution. · Workflow & team collaboration: within a professional social media team. · And much more: attending and conducting interviews, contributing to weekly formats, creating explainer videos, … I’m incredibly grateful to the whole team for their trust and support: Tom Savoldi, Seppe Dewael and Enzio Houwaart. To Thijs Vloebergh for his expert advice and sharp feedback. And a special THANK YOU to Alexander Jacobs, who truly challenged me to grow as my internship supervisor. I look back on this period with great satisfaction. I learned an incredible amount and was able to contribute to the digital impact and online presence of DAZN. It also gave me real insight into how much work happens behind the screens to deliver everything perfectly to the viewers.

Started as an HR Business Partner, grew into the role of HR Director, navigated an acquisition, leading the cultural and change track of the integration of three companies in BeNeLux... A period filled with both challenges and invaluable learning experiences. Including hard times and real difficulties, but every moment was worth it. Meeting inspiring people over the past years, I'm once again reminded how much energy, perspective, and drive those connections bring. It's truly what drives me every step of the way. After more than two years of intense integration work, this role/chapter came to a natural close. And at 38, sometimes you just know it's time to jump. It is the right moment to be intentional about what's next, to step outside the comfort zone and explore a new context. Ready for my next challenge in People & Culture (or yes, "HR" 😉). Looking for a role with real complexity, impact, and people development at its core. But before I close this chapter, I want to take a moment to thank a few people. Because letting go is never something you do entirely alone: Lode Peeters - thank you for the trust, the belief and the opportunities you gave me, which meant more to me than you might know. Sandrine Miriklis, Eva Van den Brande & Lizette Willemse - my top HR mentors, each in their own unique way. I’ve learned so much from you and have been truly inspired. Three wonderful collaborations, each with the kind of complementarity that helped me grow. It was a privilege to work with you! To the leaders who deliberately chose to place People & Culture at the heart of the business strategy: Jo Maes, Joyce van Donk-van Wijnen, Lieven Verhaevert, Michel Lorgeré. Thank you for the genuine partnership, the trust, and the collaboration. Sandra Maggen reacted on thisSandra Maggen reacted on thisOne Year as Program Leader — and a Tribute to Resilience February marks the 1-year anniversary in my current role as a program leader at Materialise — a journey aimed at helping us scale and modernize how we work, replacing outdated systems with modern, better integrated platforms. But my milestone feels small compared to the courage I’ve witnessed from some of my closest colleagues in this time, so I want to dedicate this milestone to them. Many of our team members are based in the Materialise office in Kiev. For the past four years — and especially now — they have been showing an extraordinary commitment under circumstances most of us can hardly imagine. Living under constant threat, coping with loss, enduring disrupted utilities and basic services… many of them displaced from their homes years ago, yet unable to return. And still — they show up every day, delivering reliably, supporting their customers and teams, and driving our projects forward. Their professionalism is more than just dedication — it’s a reflection of the resilience of the Ukrainian people. It’s a reminder that behind every statistic in this war are real lives, real families, and real emotion. At Materialise, we don’t just talk about supporting — we act. Several initiatives are ongoing to raise funds to improve living conditions for Ukrainian colleagues and others in need. For every 1€ donated, Materialise adds €3 on top. Once more, I’m proud to work for a company that walks the talk, translating mission and values into real action and impact, however small it may seem in the bigger picture. My call to you, my network: Please keep Ukraine in your conversations. Keep raising awareness that this war must end. Support in whatever ways you can — even small actions matter. Because silence helps no one, and solidarity is powerful. To my Ukrainian colleagues: Your courage inspires me every single day. You are a living reminder of what resilience truly means. Het was het ideale moment om de Brusselse sfeer op te snuiven, even bij de concullega’s te spieken, maar vooral om ons beste beentje voor te zetten. Met succes! De drie dagen op de Brussels Coffee Show vlogen voorbij en aan het einde van de rit was onze koffie hopeloos uitverkocht. Zondag was het tijd om alles weer in te laden: met een hoofd vol razend interessante gesprekken en frisse ideeën. Terug naar Leuven.
