Michaela Tan shared thisCrying on stage in front of hundreds of people was definitely not on my 2026 bingo card. 🥹 Taking home the B&T Women in Media Award for Social Media is a full-circle moment for me. I love this industry, so receiving this recognition means the world. Standing up there, my mind kept winding back to my early days moving to Australia. Between the steep learning curves, late nights, and building a life from scratch, moments like this make every single step of that journey worth it. To be recognised in a room packed with absolute powerhouses is something I will never take for granted. The real highlight of the night was sharing the stage with my work wife, Stephanie Theonas. Knowing how relentlessly hard she has worked for this made it a million times more special. I truly couldn't do what I do without her partnership, shared chaos, and constant support. A huge thank you to the women who inspire and lift me up daily: Shivani Maharaj and Grace Robinson. To the incredible clients and brand teams across L'Oréal Luxe. Working on these brands is a genuine dream come true. Thank you for constantly pushing us toward creativity and bold ideas. And to the guys who always have my back: Delwin Lim, Trent Peppercorn Daniels, Matt Stephens, Ryan Menezes, and Peter Vogel, who has believed in me from day one. This one is for my Women in Spam 🤳 WPP Media Australia & New Zealand

Michaela Tan shared thisWhat an incredible partnership to bring to life! Witnessing YSL Beauty Light Club light up Laneway Festival as the Official Beauty Partner was a masterclass in cultural resonance. Across 3 cities, we teamed up with 60+ incredible creators to blend artistry and music into one high-impact experience! Florina Sadikay Tayla Baxter Caitlin Rooney Stephanie Theonas Cheska Acosta kavitraa paramaguruMichaela Tan shared thisFestival season in ANZ just turned up the volume. 🎶 This February, we brought the global momentum of the YSL Beauty Light Club to life across ANZ - debuting its electrifying tour as the Official Beauty Partner of Laneway Festival. As one of the region's most cultural defining platforms - attracting a highly engaged Gen Z audience - Laneway was the perfect stage to express YSL Beauty's bold, daring and subversive spirit at scale. And we didn't just show up - we created heat. 🔥 From immersive brand experiences to artistry moments and high-impact visibility, we built true cultural presence. Anticipation built before gates opened, energy peaked on the ground, and the conversation continued well beyond the final set. Music is a powerful gateway to the next gen - and BLC allows us to embed ourselves into culture in a way that feels authentic, immersive and unforgettable. Most importantly, this was powered by an extraordinary team. Their ambition, creativity and relentless drive turned a partnership into a true cultural moment. What they ignited this summer extends far beyond the festival stage - building meaningful brand affinity and fueling the next chapter of growth for YSL Beauty across ANZ. Incredibly proud of this team and the impact they continue to make Rinku Manek, Ellie Powell, Tavonga Nzenza-Grant, Tayla Baxter, Caitlin Rooney, Claire Donovan, Jack Ryan, Sophie Caruso, Laura Dixon, Nandan Bhat, Bianca Downward, Jeannie Cho, Samantha Caddy, Danielle Lagos, Stephanie Tieppo Olivia Lafontaine. Michaela Tan shared this✨ AiMCO – Australian Influencer Marketing Council Summit: What a Day! ✨ I’m still buzzing from a day diving deep into the creator marketing space! The insights were elite and the speakers were phenomenal Here’s the cheat sheet of what I learned: 🤳 For the Creators • Manifest the Ambassadorship: Don’t wait for the contract. Post like you’re already an ambassador, tag the brands, and own the niche. • Think Longevity: Think series-based content that keeps your audience hooked for the long haul. 📈 The Content Formula • Data-Led, Creative-Fed: Analyse what’s winning, then double down. Let the data points guide your next big creative leap. • Entertain & Earn: The line is disappearing - content is now a seamless blend of entertainment and commerce. 🌏 Real Representation • The Disability Gap: People with disabilities represent 20% of AU buying power, yet they’re still largely ignored in ads. It’s time for brands to bridge this gap. 💃 Reclaiming the 45+ Female Consumer • Specialist Focus: This demographic follows experts, not just "influencers." • More Than a Label: She isn't just a "mum" or "grandma"- she’s a woman in her own right. • Celebrate the Now: Stop trying to make her look younger; celebrate exactly where she is today. Such an inspiring day of growth! Trent Peppercorn Daniels Shivani Maharaj Peter Vogel Julia Ruess Grace Robinson Patrick Whitnall Zoë Everett Stephanie Theonas

Michaela Tan reacted on thisI thought I was f**king it all up. I stood on stage infront of 100's of people at the B&T Women in Media Awards. I'd never MC'ed an evening event before and I was very conscious that I was 30, YES 30, awards away from getting everyone to the dancefloor. After all, girls just want to have fun right!? The room was noisy and all the was racing through my mind was 'these women SO bloody hard to be recognised for this award and this moment, they deserve to be heard'. So I made the decision to speed through what I was meant to say and just tell everyone to shut up. As someone who has a desperate need to be liked, my inner critic was in overdrive: 'You are not adding any value' 'You are not reading the script, B&T will not be happy' 'People are going to think you are so rude' Alongside this was the coach in my head who I have been working on for a long while 'Chloe, it's ok you've tried to read the room and react to what is needed in this moment, you can only deal with the information and situation you have infront of you - it is going to be ok'. And it was. I jumped off stage to a sea of people congratulating me on the approach. 'You are iconic' 'I want to be you when I grow up' 'this is a really hard gig, you are the best MC I've met' WOW. Thank you to all the lovely people who took the time to shut my inner critic up. She really wasn't welcome at an event which was all about celebrating women anyway! Congratulations to every single finalist and winner - YOU ARE AMAZING! #BTWIM

Michaela Tan reacted on thisWhat an incredible seven months! 🎓✨ I’m so grateful to have been part of the Bizadvisor Key Account Management Course alongside such a fantastic group of people. I went into the course knowing I had a lot to learn, but I don’t think I realised just how much it would challenge me, both professionally and personally. I was pushed well outside of my comfort zone and really threw my full self into the experience. From learning so many integral Key Account Management skills to putting them into practice through our case studies, I’ve taken away so much that I know I’ll continue to use throughout my career. A huge thank you to Kelly Smith for being such a fantastic leader throughout the course. Your knowledge, insight and personable approach made such a difference. You created an environment where everyone felt encouraged to challenge themselves, develop their skills and get the most out of the experience. I’m incredibly grateful for everything you’ve taught us. I truly believe this course will shape my career journey and has given me skills, confidence and perspective that I’ll continue to build on for years to come. And to my amazing cohort, it has been so special learning alongside you all. I can’t wait to see the incredible things each of you goes on to achieve. I have no doubt we’ll all be staying connected and cheering each other on along the way. ❤️ Feeling very proud and grateful for the experience, and excited to see where all of these new skills take us! ✨Michaela Tan reacted on thisCongratulations to the September 2026 graduates of the Bizadvisor Key Account Management Course! 🎓 Over the past seven months, I’ve watched you all lean into your personal development, challenge yourselves and put new skills into practice. Because, yes people, I’m going to be on a giant billboard! And if I wasn’t already a thousand percent stoked at how awesome it is that I was awarded Champion of Change at said B&T Women in Media Awards, I am now next-level excited, impressed and amazed that I’ll be featured on the billboards of the M2 motorway. What a joy for your journey, folks. The winning just keeps giving, and I am here for it and forever grateful. Thank you QMS and B&T.
