One major trend stands out: tech and defence companies from Central Asia are actively stepping out, exploring new markets, and scaling their global footprint faster than ever. While managing our national pavilion on site was a huge part of the trip, my mission went well beyond standard operations. As part of the sales team at Bridge Exhibitions - the official commercial and marketing partner for flagship events like EDEX - Egypt Defence Expo and El Alamein International Airshow , as well as official representatives for top global platforms including LIMA, Indo Defence, LAAD, and others - my main focus was directly engaging with international exhibitors. During the show, I conducted over 50 B2B meetings with current and potential partners to discuss their participation in our upcoming global events. These discussions were incredibly insightful, productive, and opened up strong new avenues for collaboration. Muse is Meta's new AI agent and it's basically here to replace ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and whatever other model you're currently using. It's September 2026. Everyone is already on Muse. Literally no one in my circle is talking about any of the other products right now. - We replaced the entire team at Exit Five with Muse already - Muse reads my kids bedtime stories which means I get 2 hours back each night to spend more time using Muse. - Muse tells me what to eat, how much to sleep, when to take a shit, exactly how many reps and sets for each workout, and it's connected directly to my Smart Watch so if I'm not doing exactly what I need to be doing to hit my macros, it zaps me right back into line Trust me. Muse is the last AI agent you're ever going to need. If you're reading this and you're not using Muse already, you must be some kind of a moron and clearly you're not an early adopter. You might not get replaced by AI, but you'll get replaced by someone *using* AI and Muse is the new thing. Did I do it right?

The sheer variety of aircraft on display was truly remarkable, with no fewer than 120 different types represented, alongside a strong and entirely logical presence of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as air forces from neighbouring countries. But beyond the impressive line-up, the event offered exceptional photographic opportunities (very minimum clutter), with conditions that were arguably among the best I have experienced at an airshow anywhere in the world. Trying to capture the scale and diversity of the event in just a few photographs is, quite simply, an impossible task. However here is Part 1 with civil types.
