xvoidsx is a small independent collective building open software for a fun, free, and open web. Two people: Raven builds the programming and integrations, Ryoko owns the design.
- navi — our agent-native Linux distro. Debian-based, Wayland-only, drenched in nightshadeNeon, and built around a simple idea: a computer you own. No telemetry, no ads, no lock-in.
- navi machines — small computers that run navi, built on the Raspberry Pi. The OS stays free on any machine; the machines fund the work and the upstream projects navi relies on.
- navidroid — the same spirit for your phone: a minimal, distractionless Android launcher, no custom ROM needed.
- The smallweb and the agent-native toolkit — our fediverse home neighborli, the glyyph Nostr client, the cyberia Matrix client, navi radio, and the agents and tools that ship with navi.
Everything we make is open source.
We research local AI on open hardware, in the open. The goal is intelligence on your own compute — your AI never leaves your machine, and nobody's hardware is below AI. Our model ladder runs from koe for the weakest hardware, through alice for personality, to agentic lain for machines with headroom: open weights, quants validated on real hardware, and papers published alongside the models they describe.
Your hardware is the datacenter.
It's the whole bet: the web and the models should both belong to the people who use them. An open web means protocols over platforms — smallweb pages, fediverse and Nostr and Matrix instead of walled gardens, your files on your machine. Open models mean weights you can inspect, run, and shape yourself, on hardware you already own, instead of intelligence rented from a gatekeeper. No permission needed to publish, to compute, or to think. A computer you own, a web you own, models you own — that's the future we're building toward.
