- Line 39: Update the command construction around `command` to execute the
resolved handler without shell expansion on POSIX, and use a Windows-compatible
shim invocation that preserves the handler path literally.

maybeDelegateCommandToCustomHandlerchecked for_keycloakify-custom-handlerin the theme package'snode_modules/.bin, but then ran it withnpx, which resolves fromprocess.cwd(). In a monorepo where the build is launched from the root, that ran a global binary with the same name, tried the registry, or failed. The delegate now executes the exact file it just checked (
<nodeModulesBinDirPath>/_keycloakify-custom-handler, or the.cmdshim on Windows). If that file is not there, it falls back to the previousnpxcall, so setups that work today keep working.Unchanged:
env, cwd(the handler still sees the sameprocess.cwd()), theNOT_IMPLEMENTED_EXIT_CODEhandling and the exit code propagation.Testing
Tested with a fake workspace (theme in
projects/keycloak-theme, handler only in itsnode_modules/.bin, a different_keycloakify-custom-handleronPATH), running from the root:PATHran and crashed.0→hasBeenHandled: true;78→hasBeenHandled: false; any other code is propagated. Not tested on Windows.
yarn test: the one failing test (KcSanitizer.spec.ts > should allow target="_blank") also fails onmain; it is unrelated to this change.Fixes #1068
Summary by CodeRabbit
npxas before. This helps commands use the available local handler while preserving the existing fallback behavior and exit-code handling.
