Hello, We are in the process of upgrading Keycloak from version 21.x to the latest release and are facing some challenges regarding declarative user profiles. Previously, we used custom attributes and now want to migrate to the new user profile structure. Since we have multiple installations for different clients, we would like this migration process to be as automated as possible. While searching through the repository, we found references to setting a default user profile configuration in Issue #26489 and Pull Request #26911. However, it appears that the How is this functionality supposed to work? Was it removed in later releases? Thank you in advance! |

Hi @mposolda @pedroigor , Sorry to be bothering you, but as contributors in that PR, maybe you could clarify how to use this functionality? Thank you |

After posting this question we realised that
--spi-user-profile-declarative-user-profile-config-fileworks, but only when migrating to the new Declarative User Profile structure - either when creating new Keycloak instance or during the upgrade from older version. If Keycloak was already migrated, it doesn't do anything to existing realms - the change would be visible when creating a new realm though.
