A hybrid quantum-classical programming language whose compiler enforces the laws of quantum mechanics.

Gala is a programming language for writing classical, quantum, and hybrid programs in one place. Its compiler is written in Rust and checks quantum rules for you, so programs that break the laws of quantum mechanics are caught when you compile, not when you run them.
- Strong static typing with type inference
- Expression-oriented: blocks,
if/else, and function bodies are expressions - Pattern matching on algebraic data types
- Zero-cost abstractions via monomorphization
- Safe concurrency with ownership and borrowing
- WASM target support via
gala-core
Requires Rust 1.75+.
