Summary

  • New router option: jev (TypeSafe, default), laya or kev (self-hosted). Each has a default endpoint, model id and key variable (TYPESAFE_API_KEY, LAYA_API_KEY, KEV_API_KEY). All three speak TypeSafe's /v1/systemone contract, so one table in hooks/register.tsx (ROUTERS) is the whole layer.
  • routerModel / routerUrl override the endpoint and model (hosted Laya/Kev, pinned jev-1.14).
  • Keys from /jev key or TYPESAFE_API_KEY are never sent to a non-TypeSafe endpoint.
  • Invalid effortCap / ceiling fall back to the lean preset; the router timeout timer is cancelled once the call returns.
  • /jev help lists every command; doubled effortCap description fixed. README section on switching routers.

Test plan

  • claude plugin test . (62 pass: Jev default, Laya and Kev defaults and keys, overrides, key leak, lean fallback, timeout)
  • npm run typecheck, npm run check:defaults, claude plugin validate .
  • Not run against real Laya / Kev servers: defaults come from their READMEs (Laya port 8000, model laya; Kev port 8009 from its examples, model kev-latest).

…ays default

- routerModel / routerUrl options route with any System One model (pinned
Jev, self-hosted Laya). TypeSafe Jev (jev-latest) is the default.
- Stored and env TypeSafe keys are only ever sent to api.typesafe.ai.
- Invalid effortCap / ceiling fall back to the lean values.
- Timeout timer is cancelled when the router answers; timeout test added.
- /jev help lists every command; fixed doubled effortCap description.
