Summary

  • Since 0.4.0 left calculated Booleans out of the null-mask path, a fixed-length Boolean column whose entry has the calculated flag reached the unreachable! in read_fixed_value and panicked. Every calculated column in real files is variable-length, but a crafted file can have such a column.
  • A fixed-length Boolean is now read from its bit of the null mask whatever its calculated flag says, as in 0.3.3: it has no bytes in the row, so that bit is its value. Only variable-length columns are read as calculated, as before.
  • A new test reads a fixed-length calculated Boolean; it panicked on the old code. The CSV export of the 2,105 tables of the test data is the same as before.
