Take an integer power up to 10 to its correctly rounded value and bas… …e 2 to exp2, two lanes wide too V8 hands every pow past its own cases to the platform's C library. An integer exponent up to 10 (POWI_MAX) is now the correctly rounded power (module/math/powi.js): Kornerup, Lefèvre and Muller's double-double ladder, returned where a rounding test proves it, decided on the exact power where not; the libraries miss it on 0.1-0.2% of arguments. Base 2 is $math.exp2, the 2^(j/64) table with tails. A constant base takes an integer y to the ladder first. The two-lane pow sends lanes of base 2 or of such an exponent to the scalar path, so a vectorized loop returns the bits a scalar one does, and $math.pow_ci_v, $math.powi_v and $math.exp2_v take those loops two wide.
