Puno is a cookie-cutter style project kickstarter written in Rust. It helps you bootstrap new projects quickly by providing a clean, opinionated structure out of the box.
Puno supports multiple templates, making it easy to kick-start projects in different languages and setups with consistent configuration and layout.
Creates a new project from a configured template.
This command initializes a project by "planting" a template into a target directory, applying all configured options and structure.
Tagalog alias: tanim
(tanim = plant)
puno plant my-project
# or
puno tanim my-projectAdds a new template to the Puno configuration.
This allows you to register custom or remote templates that can be planted later. Seeds define where the template comes from and how it should be used.
Tagalog alias: buto
(buto = seed)
puno seed add @appsoluut/rust-cli https://github.com/appsoluut/rust-cli-template
# or
puno buto add @appsoluut/rust-cli https://github.com/appsoluut/rust-cli-templateAs a small easter egg (and a nod to the meaning of Puno - "tree"), core commands are also available in Tagalog. Both the English and Tagalog commands behave exactly the same.
