ci: fetch every core for the release sd-zip build The v0.6.3 release workflow failed with "No rule to make target '.deps/cores/gpsp-libretro/COPYING'" while building the frontend package stamp. Release packaging ships every core, but the deps phase of `make ci-sd-zip` ran core-init with FAST_BUILD=1 because ci-sd-zip was not listed in RELEASE_CORE_GOALS. FAST_BUILD=1 skips the slow cores (gpsp, gpsp-gbac-prosty, picodrive, qpsx, mame2000, fbalpha2012), so their checkouts were never fetched. The follow-on `make sd-zip` step then required the license file from every core, and with a cold .deps/cores cache (the manifest hash changed with the qpsx pin, and the restore-keys fallback can return a partial snapshot saved by a smoke run) nothing had a rule to produce gpsp's COPYING. Add ci-sd-zip to RELEASE_CORE_GOALS so the CI deps phase fetches the full core set, matching how a local release build behaves. Keep the smoke workflows' .deps/cores snapshots on their own cache keys so a partial fast-core-only snapshot is never restored by (or mistaken for) the full release cache. Verified: `make -pn ci-sd-zip` now reports CORE_BATCH_FAST=0, the deps phase dry-run passes FAST_BUILD=0 to `make -C cores init`, and CORE_IDS_EFFECTIVE for that invocation includes gpsp and every other slow core; the three workflow YAML files still parse. cores: pin unified QPSX public revision Track the latest public_main QPSX consolidation commit from the UniFrog core manifest. The branch remains the integration contract and the full object ID keeps clean CI checkouts reproducible. Verified with a clean HCRTOS QPSX build.
ci: install Perl for generated core sources fbalpha2012's checked-in UniFrog port invokes Perl to generate driverlist.h and driverlist-gx.h. The Alpine release and full-core jobs did not install Perl, so the child make failed with error 127 and the root build later reported only the propagated error 2.\n\nAdd Perl to the release and full-core CI images and to both documented host dependency recipes. The lightweight commit-smoke job intentionally remains unchanged because it builds only the smoke core set and does not generate FB Alpha sources.\n\nEvidence: clean OK
Decouple lean smoke from full doctor The lean commit smoke initializes only the inputs needed for core smoke, native frontend checks, JS2300, and boot logo generation. Avoid calling quick-check from ci-commit-smoke because quick-check intentionally runs the full doctor, which requires FFmpeg and other full-build dependencies not fetched by the lean CI path. Add smoke-doctor for the reduced dependency set and keep doctor/quick-check unchanged for full local and manual CI validation. Verified with make ci-commit-smoke HOSTCC=tcc TOOLCHAIN=/opt/mipsel-mti-elf and with HCRTOS_FFMPEG_SOURCE set to a nonexistent path.
Fix gpsp multicore CI build rule Register GPSP_MULTICORE_CORE_LIB with the root CORE_ARCHIVE_RULE table so clean CI runners can build cores/output/gpsp_multicore_libretro_sf2000.a when sd-zip needs the gpsp-gbac-prosty module. The failure in failure0000.txt was: No rule to make target 'cores/output/gpsp_multicore_libretro_sf2000.a', needed by 'build/core_modules/gpsp-gbac-prosty.out'. Verification: removed the generated gpsp_multicore archive, gpsp-gbac-prosty module output, and packaged bin, then ran make output/sdcard/unifrog/cores/gpsp-gbac-prosty.bin to prove the root dependency path rebuilds the archive. Also ran make quick-check.
Prioritize fastboot handoff over override Do not let the power-on button override cancel a one-shot firmware handoff requested from the UniFrog menu. Stage1 now checks and attempts the handoff before scanning controller GPIOs, so menu-launched stock firmware is loaded without the input scanner perturbing pins or interpreting the still-held menu button as an override. The B-button override remains available only for boot_asd.cfg default boots.
Add quick-menu fast forward Expose the libretro host fast_forward flag through quick-menu JS actions.\n\nAdd a Fast forward row to the in-game quick menu with On/Off state and toast feedback, and document that the pause menu can toggle fast-forward for the current game session.\n\nVerification: git diff --check passed. make quick-check is blocked by missing unifrog-hcrtos-sdk/include. make -C frontend check is blocked by missing .deps/mquickjs.
