Firefox extension to select and export a range of messages from Microsoft Teams web chat as an HTML file.
Teams web uses virtual scrolling, so only a subset of messages exist in the DOM at any time. This extension works around that by caching messages as you scroll between your start and end points.
- Right-click on the first message you want to copy and select "Teams Copier: Set as Start"
- The message will be highlighted with a purple outline and a "START" label
- Scroll through the chat to load all messages in between
- Right-click on the last message and select "Teams Copier: Set as End & Copy"
- An HTML file containing all messages in the range will be downloaded
- Clone this repo or download the source
- Open Firefox and go to
about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox - Click "Load Temporary Add-on"
- Select the
