Refs #50

Adds CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md and SECURITY.md adapted from skillware's patterns, tuned for rooms' local-first, pre-release context.

Changes

  • CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md : pledge, standards, responsibilities, scope, contribution process, enforcement contact
  • SECURITY.md : supported versions (main-only pre-release), reporting to systems@arpacorp.net, scope, out-of-scope, pre-release disclaimer
  • CONTRIBUTING.md : added links to both new files in Related documents
  • CHANGELOG.md : Unreleased entry

Thanks @UroojFatima-052, this is the correct path.

Please update some minor things before merge:

  1. Link both files from docs/README.md (Project meta table).
  2. Link both files from the README Documentation Library table.
  3. Change Closes #50 to Refs #50, this is Phase 1 only, CI editable-install remains open on Align CI with pyproject dev install and add CODE_OF_CONDUCT + SECURITY.md #50 until Add PyPI packaging (pyproject.toml, console entry point, publish workflow) #46.

Ping when pushed and we’ll merge. <3
