Validated world archive for the live city roads release.
Hietalahti optimized world - 2026-10-30
Immutable optimized world archive for the completed first-area Hietalahti release. Manifest SHA256: 4ef949372affa569adc21c1701b1509bd856c3c583245cfbfc71781d626b64b3. Wider southern/western navigation and Viikki remain deferred. The matching game shell is promoted separately after served-asset verification.

Player character named Snow
The player character is named Snow throughout the game and its credits. Snow can now get to a car whose driver door is blocked: he pushes the car clear from a corner, or shoves people and bodies away from the door.
Cars now land on their wheels or their roof instead of always on the roof, lean in corners and catch kerbs when sliding sideways. Softer ground shadows and a quieter engine.

Remove raised bridge centre bars
Removes the raised twin centre bars shown in the bridge screenshot, together with their physical collision faces. The outer safety rails, roadway, sidewalks, and flat tram tracks are preserved.

Mobile browser beta — 22 October 2026
Mobile browser beta for Helsinki Rides.
- Touch-first devices automatically select Low graphics and 30 FPS. Physics remains at 60 Hz.
- English and Finnish touch controls cover walking, running, aiming, firing, jumping, entering cars and driving. Pause, orientation changes and background interruptions clear held input.
- Model loading, texture residency, distant character animation and the service-worker asset cache have bounded budgets.
- Terrain transport is 34.6% smaller with identical Float32 heights. The complete 515-cell map, original collision, source notices and credits remain in the packet.
The archive is the immutable world packet selected by the committed Pages descriptor. Native Chromium touch and deterministic replay checks have been run. Physical iPhone/Android performance and thermal testing remain pending; desktop emulation does not establish phone frame rates.
The automated desktop pursuit route passed its gameplay and exact replay checks but exceeded its 75-second completion threshold. The time-based journey check remains a verification limitation; it is not reported as a full pass.
Citywide civilians and police response
Adds roaming civilian Snow and Rain variants, delayed witness reports for completed car thefts, and police return fire only after an actual player shot. Civilian assaults and vehicle impacts trigger injury, knockdown and police reports. Firing uses paired-hand aiming, recoil and a brief warm muzzle light.
Press G to holster and surrender; police stop firing and can approach for arrest. Aiming again does not authorize return fire until the player actually shoots.
The complete existing city and streaming behavior are retained. Civilian assets use mipmapped KTX2 textures, Meshopt buffers and only their three required animation clips. Credits distinguish model and animation sources.

Helsinki city expansion beta - 21 October 2026
Helsinki city expansion beta, built on the previously deployed Senate Square repair.
- 515 streamed cells, extending south towards Aleksanterin teatteri and north through Hakaniemi and Kallio towards Viikki.
- Rebuilt bridge surfaces and approaches, 84 official facade recoveries and 42 completed original facade profiles.
- Additional central tram coverage, Finnish/English flag selection and a translucent screenshot-backed start screen.
- Shared Standard/Low KTX2 textures, streamed collision, lossless model compaction and two losslessly compressed nonruntime JSON records. Existing old-city assets and hero models are retained.
The beta stops before Viikki campus. Two bridge walking directions remain blocked; some facades and bridge-side approaches need further work. Tree instances retain their source positions. See the scope and limitations.

The release descriptor pins the exact archive bytes and SHA-256. Source, history, model/image metadata and archive ownership are audited before upload. Asset credits and database notices remain included; original code licensing does not relicense third-party assets.

Senate Square entrances and facade repairs
Repairs the University and Government Palace entrances from Street View references: separate steps and landings, east-facing Palace flights, continuous curbs, pedestrian ramps and matching collision. Restores selected missing facades at Aleksanterinkatu 14-18, the National Archives and Porthania using original artwork. Failed texture requests now reject incomplete cells so streaming can retry.
The complete 304-cell map and reduced-texture tier are retained. Unobserved rear/side elevations and the archive annex remain outside the restoration scope. Google imagery is appearance reference only; its pixels are not distributed.

Web delivery pass — 20 October 2026
Web delivery pass (decision 0022): deterministic collision streaming uses recorded geometry extents, low-preset textures retain the exact lower mip payloads, Rapier WebAssembly loads separately, and repeat visits use a release-scoped cache. Police model loading is deferred with retries; seated officers are measured at their moving vehicle for readiness.
The full 304-cell world is retained. The archive is 536,410,482 bytes and is uploaded unchanged as pages-world.tar.gz.
