WikiProject Minecraft is a WikiProject tasked with creating and maintaining items for the video game series Minecraft, along with items for user-generated content (like mods).

Secondary goals include coverage of Minecraft-specific terms as lexemes and introduction of items for Minecraft-related scholarly papers.

The rationale for the creation of this project is that there are approximately 1500 items related to Minecraft in some way, shape, or form. Efforts for creating and maintaining said items were extremely scattered and disorganized before the creation of this project.

• Creating new items for mods (while taking care to respect WD:N).
• Importing data from the Feed the Beast Wiki (Q105518219) and other modded Minecraft wikis.
• Create or link items from the Know Your Meme Minecraft category
  • Use Know Your Meme ID (P6760) for identification
• Document musical works related to Minecraft following the guidelines set by Wikidata:WikiProject Music
