According to a survey of smartphone users conducted between January and December, 2023 in selected countries worldwide, an average of ** percent of smartphone users reported using their smartphone to chat and send messages, while around ***** in ** reported sending e-mails. Accessing their online banking was the third most popular activity on average for global respondents, while around ** percent of respondents reported listening to music on their mobile devices. Watching videos was also among the most popular activities on the smartphone, with ** percent of respondents reporting consuming video content using their mobile devices.
