e-GEOS Collaboration for Geospatial Intelligence Solutions

🆕 e-GEOS, part of Leonardo Space, and iQPS, Inc. (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.) are collaborating to develop new Geospatial Intelligence solutions for institutions, governments and businesses, with applications ranging from emergency management to mining and infrastructure monitoring. 🛰️ At the heart of the collaboration is the integration of data from the QPS-SAR constellation operated by iQPS with data from the COSMO-SkyMed constellation of the Italian Space Agency (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana) and the Italian Ministry of Defence (Ministero della Difesa), for which e-GEOS is the exclusive commercial distributor. 🎤 C. Last year, the European Investment Bank (EIB) approved EUR 37,5m of quasi-equity Venture Debt Financing to Aerospacelab because we believed that this innovative Walloon company could be a game changer for Europe's space industry... congratulations to CEO Benoît Deper and his whole team for this amazing achievement!

Marlan Space and Loft Orbital are leading a consortium to build Altair-Next Gen, a 50-satellite AI-enabled Earth observation infrastructure, backed by a $1 billion investment in France. The constellation will process data directly in orbit and deliver alerts within seconds, with applications including maritime domain awareness, wildfire detection, disaster response, and critical infrastructure security. The programme brings together capabilities from the UAE, France, US and European space industry, with satellites manufactured by Orbitworks in Abu Dhabi. NorthStar and Kepler agree to host space sensors on satellites NorthStar Earth & Space will put optical sensors for tracking objects in orbit onto satellites operated by Kepler Communications, the two Canadian companies said Thursday. The agreement is meant to get NorthStar’s next space-tracking sensors into orbit faster than building and launching its own spacecraft would allow....

Polish space technology company Creotech Instruments signed an ESA contract for a space weather satellite mission. The company announced a 13.9 million euro ($16 million) contract for the comprehensive implementation of the SAWA 2nd Space Weather nanosat mission, which will study the Earth's upper atmosphere and monitor the effects of solar activity on the space environment in LEO. The nanosat's launch is expected in early 2029, the company said. The project will be financed via Poland's contribution to the Space Weather and Space Safety Program.
