iQPS, Inc. (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.) has selected ThrustMe to equip QPS-SAR-13 and the satellites that follow with iodine electric propulsion, to reliably advance the deployment of its small SAR satellite constellation. In collaboration with more than 25 partner companies across Japan, primarily centered in northern Kyushu, iQPS develops, manufactures and operates the "QPS-SAR" small SAR satellites, which enable Earth observation day and night, regardless of weather conditions. The company aims to establish a 24-satellite constellation by the end of May 2028 and to expand to a large-scale constellation by 2030, delivering near-real-time observation data globally. ThrustMe supplies the electric propulsion systems that maintain each satellite's orbit after deployment. Two of the satellites already in orbit carry the system on board. Shunsuke Onishi, CEO of iQPS, and Ane Aanesland, founder and CEO of ThrustMe, met at the International Space Summit in Paris on 9 September, reaffirming their continued collaboration and their commitment to strengthening the partnership as the constellation is built out. 🆕 e-GEOS, part of Leonardo Space, and iQPS, Inc. (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.) are collaborating to develop new Geospatial Intelligence solutions for institutions, governments and businesses, with applications ranging from emergency management to mining and infrastructure monitoring. 🛰️ At the heart of the collaboration is the integration of data from the QPS-SAR constellation operated by iQPS with data from the COSMO-SkyMed constellation of the Italian Space Agency (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana) and the Italian Ministry of Defence (Ministero della Difesa), for which e-GEOS is the exclusive commercial distributor. 🎤 C. (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.) for multiple launch services opportunities. This agreement makes iQPS, Inc. (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.) 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞’𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬, and it is also the first long-term partnership with a customer from the Asia-Pacific region. The agreement will enable MaiaSpace to fulfill iQPS, Inc.
