I created a platform to originate projects, basically it’s a system like Airbnb, but instead of renting out hotel rooms, we identify social and environmental impact projects. I developed it over 17 years and over 1,000,000 km of global travel to identify world problems and the best solutions that are available without having to require to invest in new technologies, the goal is to get the good stuff out there to help people immediately. The platform originated over $1 billion in opportunities even outside regular impact projects, going into actual infrastructure opportunities where the infrastructure itself could generate recurring revenue every year. It flips the lid on charities: instead of somebody donating $1 million to charity, they could donate $1 million into this and still get the charity advantage in Canada, while their investment has recurring revenue every year that could further the impact. It’s like a compounding impact investment.It’s not a new idea. I pitched it across Canada to all the banks and investors and law firms I could find in 2008 and again after pilot projects in 2012 and 2015, but zero interest. Today it seems everybody loves it. I’m now creating our founders circle.

Monimiz: Closing the Gap Nobody's Closing I built Monimiz because I kept seeing the same broken pattern: the people who most need healthcare can't find it in real time, and the governments and health systems responsible for serving them are working off public health data that's too fragmented and generalized to act on. Two problems, same communities, and every existing tool solves exactly one side of it. HealthMap tracks outbreaks. Zocdoc books appointments. Epic and Cerner manage records. Nobody connects individual access to institutional intelligence. So we built the thing that does both. Monimiz gives individuals real-time, address-level visibility into nearby clinics, specialists, and pharmacies, plus an AI primary doctor for symptom checks and preventive guidance. On the other side, it gives governments, hospitals, and NGOs predictive public health analytics: disease trends, resource gaps, social determinants of health, down to the community level, not the county or state level everyone else settles for. One platform, two audiences, one shared data backbone. And every connection is opt-in: people authorize their own data; we don't aggregate it by default.

I have to be honest — posts like this make it very difficult to distinguish genuine founder sourcing from simple engagement farming. When the call to action is “follow me, comment a letter, boost the post,” but there’s little substance around investment thesis, check size, stage, criteria, or what founders actually gain from engaging, it can easily come across as influence-building rather than authentic deal sourcing. Founders are already navigating an enormous amount of noise. If the opportunity is real, why not lead with enough transparency for people to actually qualify the fit and your authenticity before being asked to help grow the post? That would create far more trust — and frankly, far more value.
