Tracy Galloway shared thisAs I step into retirement, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ll carry with me from these years. What stands out isn't the milestones. It’s the people, the teams, and the moments in between. From my very first manager, Sara Zappia, to leaders like Deb Cupp and Meg Whitman, I've had the benefit of learning from people who set a high bar and challenged me to grow. I’m especially grateful to those who trusted me with big opportunities—Phil Sorgen, Steve Stingle, Robert Vrij, Judson Althoff, and Satya Nadella—each of whom pushed me to keep raising the bar. And to my husband Rob Galloway, my biggest supporter through it all—thank you. Careers are shaped by the people who invest in you. Choose them well, and when you can, be that person who invests in others. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey!

Tracy Galloway shared thisAs my time at Microsoft winds down, I’ve been reflecting on the people who made it so meaningful—starting with Julie Rennegarbe, my chief of staff. Julie is an exceptional partner. She brings rigor and clarity to big decisions, and she’s served as the connective tissue between me, my leaders, and the broader team. What sets Julie apart is not just how she helps drive the business forward, but how intentionally she shapes the way we work. She sets a high bar for clarity, accountability, and how we show up for one another. Her impact is felt across this entire organization. Julie, thank you. I’m incredibly grateful for your partnership and steady presence, and I know you’ll continue to do great things here.

Tracy Galloway shared thisAfter 35 amazing years—including the last 10 at Microsoft—I will be retiring later this month. It’s been an incredible chapter. I’ve had the opportunity to build businesses, work alongside exceptional leaders, and most importantly, learn from teams who continually raised the bar. I’m especially grateful to the colleagues and partners who trusted me with big challenges and stood alongside me through moments of growth, change, and reinvention. As my time here begins to wind down, I find myself just deeply thankful for the people who have been part of this journey. I’m looking forward to what’s next: more time with family, and a little more space for travel, golf, and boating this summer.

Tracy Galloway shared thisOne of the biggest risks in transformation work? Mistaking activity for progress. This Fast Company article captures an important truth about large-scale change efforts: it’s possible to move quickly and still lose the thread. What keeps teams aligned through difficult moments isn’t urgency — it’s clarity: a shared north star, common values to build from, and milestones that help people understand where they are and what matters most right now. Tracy Galloway shared thisTechnology moves fast. Leadership has to move with it. I joined Ben Fanning on the CEO Tech Live podcast, powered by Hexaware Technologies, to talk about what that looks like in practice — staying relevant as AI reshapes how we work, keeping teams connected across 35 countries, and why being honest about your limits might be one of the best career decisions you ever make. One thing I keep coming back to: the faster things move, the more important the human side of leadership becomes. Staying curious. Staying present with your teams. And never underestimating fun and humor. Hope you find something useful in the conversation. Tracy Galloway shared thisFor COOs, the AI conversation has to start with the business, not the technology. AI is changing how work flows across organizations, how decisions get made, and how value gets created. The leaders who get this right aren't just asking where to apply AI — they're asking where the business needs to operate differently. I recently keynoted the COO Leaders' Summit hosted by The Global Series and joined Nick Pryke for a fireside chat on what it takes to move from AI pilots to enterprise-wide transformation. The key takeaway: the shift from experimentation to impact is as much about leadership as it is about technology.

Tracy Galloway shared thisTrust is an execution advantage—especially in transformation. It shows up in how leaders operate day to day—how they listen, how they surface issues, and how they create clarity for teams. When trust is strong, organizations move faster. When it’s not, even strong strategies struggle to scale. This HBR piece reinforces the pattern: leaders often assume alignment because they don’t hear pushback—while teams quietly disengage. By the time cracks appear, momentum is already at risk. https://lnkd.in/e8iduhEMWhen Senior Leaders Lack People Skills, Transformations FailWhen Senior Leaders Lack People Skills, Transformations Fail

Tracy Galloway shared thisThe days are long, but the years are short. Seeing these two photos side by side really brings that into focus—same pose, different season of life. My daughter Peyton is graduating this year with her MS in nursing, and my son Bradyn is heading to the University of Oklahoma this fall. It’s a reminder of how much can change over time and how quickly it happens. Through every stage, they’ve been my greatest source of perspective and, without question, my proudest accomplishment. Excited to see what’s ahead for both of them. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who know just how quickly time flies by.

Tracy Galloway shared thisAI is expanding what people can do at work. The real opportunity is redesigning how that work gets done across the business. The latest Microsoft Work Trend Index shows a shift underway. Employees are taking on more complex work with AI, but most organizations are still running on systems, processes, and incentives built for a different way of working. Only 26% of employees say leadership is clearly aligned on AI—a signal the operating model hasn't kept up. The next phase of AI transformation is rethinking how the business runs, including how work flows, how decisions get made, and how performance is measured. https://lnkd.in/gWhpUyz7WorkLab: Hard Data, Compelling Stories, Vital InsightsWorkLab: Hard Data, Compelling Stories, Vital Insights

Tracy Galloway liked thisNothing makes me happier than watching amazing people be recognized for their skills, capability, and commitment. A massive congrats to Shelley Bransten for her Board appointment at Ross Stores. I know the type of contribution and impact she will make and Ross is lucky to have her!!Tracy Galloway liked thisI'm excited and honored to be joining the Board of Directors at Ross Stores, Inc.. Ross is a brand I've admired for years. In a retail world where many follow the same playbook, Ross has never been afraid to chart its own course. That entrepreneurial spirit, combined with an incredible focus on value, has built deep loyalty with customers and made Ross a destination for consumers across the country. And who doesn’t love a treasure hunt? As someone who has spent much of my career thinking about retail and consumer experience, it's safe to say I've spent my fair share of time walking store aisles, watching shoppers, and hunting for great finds. And thinking of how technology makes this all more seamless. It’s why this opportunity feels especially meaningful. But what makes this moment even more exciting is the momentum ahead. Ross recently delivered strong results and plans to open 115 new stores in 2026. I look forward to helping the company continue its growth journey and bringing my experience at the intersection retail, technology, and consumer experience to a company and leadership team I deeply respect. Grateful for the opportunity and here's to helping more customers experience the thrill of the hunt! A special *thank you* to my squad and the Ross team: Gunnar Bjorklund; Trish Mueller; Laura Mantoura; Lisa Edwards, Deb Cupp, Lloyd Adams, Luke Shave, Tina Sharkey, Charlie Goldstein; Lesley Bunim; Matt Boss https://lnkd.in/gz3MtjPN

Tracy Galloway liked thisTracy Galloway liked thisI've been thinking a lot about change lately. This year, two significant chapters shifted at the same time. Professionally, I stepped into a new role as Chief of Staff at Microsoft Security engineering, joining a new organization focused on turning innovation into customer value, faster. Personally, my husband and I became empty nesters. One transition came with a new title. The other came with a quieter house. Both required something surprisingly similar: letting go of what was familiar and embracing what comes next. As parents, we're constantly preparing our kids for independence. That doesn't make the transition any less emotional when it arrives. The same is true in a new role. The comfort of expertise gives way to the uncertainty of learning again. I'm learning navigating change isn't about having answers. It's about staying curious enough to ask better questions. • Where can I create the most impact? • What needs to be true for others to succeed? • Who am I becoming in this next chapter? To anyone standing in the middle of a transition, whether at work or at home: it's okay to feel excited and uncertain at the same time. Often that's the signal you are growing. Here's to new beginnings, different problems to solve, bigger challenges, continued learning and finding purpose in what’s next. And yes... a quieter home, cleaner countertops, and the joy of watching the people you love step confidently into their own next chapter. ❤️

Tracy Galloway liked thisTracy Galloway liked thisHave you ever done that thought experiment where you imagine being in a room with everyone you've ever mattered to, everyone whose lives you ever touched? Some of them you'd expect to see there, while others might be a surprise. In the process of setting up Mel Davis Consulting Group this summer, I got to live that experience in a small, but very real way, as I reached out to leaders, colleagues, and teammates across more than a decade and multiple companies to ask if they'd be willing to write a testimonial endorsing my work to the future clients of Mel Davis Consulting Group. To say I was honored by the genuine enthusiasm from every response is more than an understatement. Executive sponsors who backed me and my big (read, risk-taking) ideas before they'd seen the impact were still willing to stand by that work years later. A manager who guided me through both the highs and lows of being a people leader in her organization said that the people I develop end up stronger for it, individually and as a team. Collaborators who did the actual work alongside me, shoulder to shoulder, wrote about how I brought real structure to messy, cross-functional conversations, always curious, always willing to push back on the obvious answer, and intentionally inclusive of everyone while doing it. And teammates who reported to me responded to say incredibly kind things about what that was like. I didn't expect to see my whole career reflected back to me in such specific, generous detail. Matt Smith, Tracy Galloway, Andrea Russell, Cory Wiltbank, Andy Bianco, Alphie Aiken, Jennifer Turvold, Leone Kraus: thank you for what you wrote about me and my work. And Asim Khan, Don Yanaitis, Megan P.itis, Megan P., and Shereece Frison-Williams: thank you for what you wrote for Lori. Ultimately, a career is nothing more than people deciding, over and over, to trust you with their goals. Thank you for the trust, and thank you for your sponsorship as we launch this new venture. Your belief in us is more than an honor. It's a large part of what has made "jumping off the cliff and building our wings" feel both exciting and possible.

Tracy Galloway liked thisTracy Galloway liked thisI’m excited to share that I’ve joined Eliza Chief Operating Officer. Eliza is reimagining the services model for the AI era by building an AI‑native company from the ground up. That’s what drew me here. Just a few quarters in, Eliza’s exponential growth reflects the strength of its operating model, the extraordinary work of the team, and how powerfully the Eliza Way is landing with clients. Eliza’s partnership with OpenAI makes this moment even more energizing. I’m thrilled to go all‑in as we build a world‑class OpenAI partner and rethink how work gets done, how teams are empowered, and how clients experience value, speed, and outcomes in an AI‑driven world. I’ve known Stephen Garden, Eliza’s CEO, for years. I’ve long respected how he thinks, how he builds, and the caliber of people he brings together. Joining Eliza feels like the right move at exactly the right moment. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves alongside this exceptional team and help build what’s next.

Tracy Galloway liked thisTracy Galloway liked thisJust returned from a trip across Sri Lanka and India with Rachel Bondi, CVP of Asia SME&C, where I had the opportunity to meet with customers, partners and leaders who are shaping the future with technology. I had the opportunity to participate in the Microsoft CXO Forum with 80 leaders including a conversation with Conrad Dias, Executive Director at LOLC, and one theme came across clearly: organizations are moving beyond asking whether AI will transform their business to focusing on how they can harness it responsibly, securely, and at scale. And we're on this journey ourselves. I shared lessons on how we're deploying AI across our own business, reimagining workflows, empowering employees and accelerating business value at scale. The opportunity ahead will be defined not by technology alone but by how people, organizations, and entire ecosystems come together to learn, adapt, and innovate. #MicrosoftAI #Innovation #CustomerZero #Leadership

Tracy Galloway liked thisTracy Galloway liked thisAs I watched my boys head back to school, I found myself thinking about the excitement that comes with new classrooms, new experiences, bigger challenges and bigger dreams. There is something about this time of year that feels like a fresh start. For kids, it might be a new teacher, a new grade, or the chance to learn something they've never learned before. For those of us who are working, it can be a chance to refocus, set new goals, build new skills, and embrace new opportunities. One thing I've learned over the years is that growth doesn't stop when we leave the classroom. Some of our most important lessons come from new experiences, meaningful conversations, unexpected challenges, and the willingness to keep learning. As we head into the fall season, I'm taking a cue from my boys: stay curious, embrace what's next, and be open to the opportunities that help us grow. Here's to lifelong learning, continued growth, and making the most of what's ahead.

At #OracleAIWorld, I had the privilege of joining leaders from NetApp, Acuity, and Emerson to delve into what it truly takes to scale 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗜 and achieve real business value. Our discussion underscored that success isn't just about adopting new tools; it's about a holistic transformation of the operating model. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲: • 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁: The "people agenda" is critical to AI success. Leaders must articulate a clear vision, fostering an 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 where employees understand their value proposition in an AI-powered future. AI agents are seen as collaborators, potentially doubling workforce capacity, freeing humans for more strategic, creative, and value-generating work. • 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮: Beyond fragmented data environments, organizations must prioritize 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 to enable agentic AI to work effectively. A "less-is-more" approach, focusing on harvesting value from strategic data segments, is crucial. • 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 & 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀: Traditional vertical systems often create silos. Agentic AI, however, excels at working horizontally across workflows and solutions, enabling 𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 by absorbing operational and technical complexity. This redesign allows for substantial productivity gains and cost savings, with 66% of executives reporting increased productivity and 57% reporting cost savings from AI agents. • 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Establishing 𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 from the outset is not a hurdle but a growth lever. Companies embedding governance early are seeing stronger ROI and faster stakeholder trust, with managing AI risks identified as a business imperative. The progress we're witnessing is just the beginning of a high-performance era for businesses. Watch the full session to hear more about how forward-looking companies are building real outcomes with agentic AI and shaping the future of business. Microsoft’s Q2 FY26 results reinforce the strength and maturity of the cloud ecosystem we’re proud to partner with at Focus Dynamics Group. With revenue at $81.3B (up 17% YoY) and EPS up 24%, the company continues to deliver consistent, broad-based growth across commercial cloud. A standout milestone this quarter: Microsoft Cloud revenue exceeded $50B for the first time, reaching $51.5B (up 26%). For partners, this points to sustained customer demand for modernisation, AI adoption, and long‑horizon platform investments. In the Business Applications space — where FDG focuses — it’s great to see Dynamics 365 growing 19%. This reflects what we’re seeing on the ground: customers continuing to replace legacy systems, consolidate platforms, and unlock new value through automation and data-driven decisioning. The wider Productivity & Business Processes segment grew 16%, fuelled by Microsoft 365, Copilot, and expanding app workloads. Power Platform performance sits inside that momentum, with customers increasingly shifting from point solutions to integrated business apps that scale. For FDG, these results reinforce three things: • Customers are investing in cloud foundations that will carry them through the next decade. • AI-enabled business apps are no longer experimental — they’re becoming core. • Demand for partners who can simplify, modernise, and reliably deliver measurable outcomes has never been stronger. A great quarter for Microsoft — and a great signal for partners helping customers accelerate what’s next.
