This isn't a traditional ML role. I'm looking for someone who is passionate about applying machine learning, security analytics, and data science to real-world security problems -- identifying emerging threats, understanding attacker behavior, modeling cyber risk, and transforming large-scale security telemetry into actionable intelligence. Rohit Chopra liked thisRohit Chopra liked thisI quit my job. Even writing this feels scary. For more than a decade, my career has been a huge part of my identity. I worked as a software engineer, moved into product management, built products, solved problems, handled impossible timelines and celebrated launches that once existed only as ideas. I was comfortable in that world. I understood it. But somewhere along the way, another dream started becoming louder. Puprazy began with a simple thought: our pets deserve treats that are clean, natural and made with the same care we expect for ourselves. What started with treats slowly grew into something much bigger. Today, we are building Puprazy as a pet wellness brand with products that support nutrition, play, enrichment and everyday care. Every order, every repeat customer, every photo shared by a pet parent, and every dog or cat getting excited about a Puprazy product made me feel that we were building something truly special. For a long time, I managed both worlds together. A full-time job during the day and Puprazy during every free hour, weekend and late night. But there comes a point when you have to stop treating your dream like a side project. So I made one of the biggest and scariest decisions of my life. I left my job to pursue Puprazy full time. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t afraid. Walking away from stability is not easy, especially from a career that took years to build. There are so many unknowns, and not every day feels brave. But underneath all that fear, there is also excitement. For the first time, I am giving Puprazy the time, energy and belief it truly deserves. This is not just a career change for me. It is choosing something I deeply believe in. It is choosing to build a brand that makes pets happier and helps pet parents feel good about the choices they make for them. I don’t know exactly where this journey will take me, but I know I would regret it forever if I never gave it everything I had. So here I am. Scared, hopeful and officially building Puprazy full time. The next chapter begins now.

Three weeks ago, my close friend’s life changed completely. What began as unexplained fatigue led to a stroke-like episode and, within 48 hours, a devastating diagnosis: T-ALL, an aggressive form of leukemia that had already spread through his body. He is now undergoing intensive treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, fighting not only for his health, but for the chance to return home to his wife and their two young children — a 4.5-year-old and a baby who just turned one. I know LinkedIn is primarily a professional community, but over the years, many of us have also built something much more valuable here — a community of people willing to help one another when life takes an unexpected turn. Today it supports: • $217B in annualized gross bookings • Nearly 2× that in total money movement • Ledger balances for 1.2B+ entities The architecture didn't scale because we kept redesigning it. It scaled because we got the fundamentals right: → Immutable money orders → Zero-sum accounting → Strongly consistent ledgers → Loosely coupled services Those principles became the foundation for every new line of business and 50+ payment methods—with no fundamental rearchitecture. Rohit Chopra liked thisRohit Chopra liked thisAs our CFO Balaji Krishnamurthy mentioned at earnings yesterday, we’re seeing some very interesting trends on AI costs. I think it’s another signal that we’re coming to the end of the so-called ‘tokenmaxxing’ era. Here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes. Since the beginning of the year we’ve more than quadrupled the number of people using frontier AI tools. That’s thousands of engineers using them every single day. During that same period, our cost per token has declined. You might expect costs to rise as adoption accelerates. We've seen the opposite. Not because we've restricted access, but because we've treated efficiency as an engineering problem rather than a budget problem. A few examples: • Caching and reuse: We use optimizations to improve our prompt cache hit rate that reduce our input token spend. • Better defaults and tooling: We tuned default model settings, context sizes and developer workflows so teams get the same results with fewer tokens and lower-cost inference. • Visibility drives efficiency: We gave engineers real-time visibility into their AI usage and costs per hour. • Experimenting with open-weight models: we continuously evaluate new models and deploy the best option for each use case. This is the future of applied AI at enterprise scale. The next phase, whatever we call it, will not be characterized by who spends the most tokens, but about how people use them as efficiently as possible.
