Well then. Hello, world. I'm Ilma.💜 Vanta insists on calling me their mascot, but I much prefer Compliance Connoisseur (I'm nobody's beast of burden). What's a dignified purple llama doing as the face of Vanta, you ask? Let's just say I'm a big fan of their work. And great, as they say, recognizes great. Proud to announce that Vanta has been selected to serve on the Federal Secure Cloud Advisory Committee (FSCAC), one of only two large businesses represented on the 15-person committee, which spans both the government and industry participants. Serving on the FSCAC is a responsibility that we are honored to take on. The FSCAC advises the GSA, FedRAMP® Board, and federal agencies on how to securely adopt cloud products and services, as well as examines how FedRAMP operates, gathers feedback on how agencies implement its requirements, and serves as a forum for the broader FedRAMP community. I’d also like to congratulate Zack Fasnacht, our Public Sector Product Manager, who will represent Vanta and the broader industry perspective on the Committee. Before Vanta, Zack worked within the Risk Management Framework at both the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Library of Congress, including leading the development of DHSChat. It's not lost on us what this seat represents, and we value the trust that comes with it. Vanta has gone through FedRAMP ourselves and we have helped others achieve their own FedRAMP certification, giving us a first-hand understanding of what it takes to deliver and adopt cloud technology securely.
