RTX employees are taking action to support their communities during #HungerActionMonth. More than 100 employees across seven sites in three states came together to pack 4,500+ care packs filled with healthy snacks for community members facing food insecurity and 18,000 pounds of food to support local food shelves. Their time and effort are helping make a difference in the communities where we live and work.

Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace are part of HEURECA, a new consortium selected by the European Union’s Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking to advance hybrid-electric propulsion technology for future short- and medium-range aircraft. Building on the SWITCH project, the team will continue development of a hybrid-electric Pratt & Whitney GTF engine demonstrator incorporating Collins Aerospace motors and motor controllers.
