Raytheon’s StormBreaker smart weapon continues to expand precision strike capabilities, giving operators greater flexibility to engage challenging targets in complex environments. During a recent flight test in Arizona, an F-35B successfully launched eight StormBreakers simultaneously, demonstrating the smart weapon’s ripple eight capability and its rapid, accurate deployment. To strengthen defense capacity and readiness across the Indo-Pacific, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin’s Javelin Joint Venture has entered into an MOU with Tata Advanced Systems Limited for the co-production of the Javelin All Up Round in India. The agreement would bring final assembly and integration capabilities to India, strengthening the country’s defense industrial base and skilled workforce while sustaining U.S. jobs across the Javelin production. RTX continues to invest in the people, technologies and facilities needed to deliver critical defense capabilities faster. The latest example: a $50 million expansion of Raytheon’s manufacturing facility in Forest, Mississippi. The new 17,000-square-foot space will increase production capacity for critical electronic warfare and radar systems. This includes production, test and integration of Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) pods for the US Navy and Australian government, as well as other airborne radar programs. The expansion will also support workforce growth, with 100 new high-skill jobs expected by 2028. Building on $280 million in investments at the Forest site over the past decade, RTX continues to strengthen U.S. manufacturing and increase capacity to meet growing customer demand.

Raytheon’s SPY-6 continues to advance integrated air and missile defense capabilities at sea, giving the US Navy greater awareness to detect, track and respond to advanced threats. During Pacific Dragon 2026 (PD26), SPY-6 participated aboard USS Jack H. Lucas (DDG 125), the Navy’s first Flight III destroyer equipped with Baseline 10 and AN/SPY-6, alongside the Missile Defense Agency and allied forces. By enhancing interoperability across the fleet and with allied forces, SPY-6 is helping strengthen readiness and support regional security.
