They say to never meet your heroes. Yesterday I got to meet RevOps superstars Mallory Lee and Mollie B. in the same day. In fairness I’ve met Mollie IRL before, but it never ceases to amaze me that these all-stars allow me to hang with them. Like I can add anything or teach them anything they don’t already know x1000. Meeting them and fostering friendships has helped me grow tremendously but also given me a couple incredible humans I can count on. We were reminiscing about how we first met years ago (note: nobody really remembers). And how when I told Mallory she needed to meet Mollie, they already had exchanged emails about their kids a few years prior. The vibes were immaculate. And humor next level - look at Mollie’s shirt. We even got a shot with Mollie with Mallory and my Mallory wearing the shirt (but I can’t find the pic atm). Also, there’s a text chain with my partner included that I’m about to be kicked out of. The people I’ve met and relationships I’ve built are some of the best of my career. I’m overflowing with gratitude. Thank you ladies for making the trip to Brooklyn and all that you do.

  • REVOLT! 2026, our annual digital conference, is happening October 14th and 15th, and we’re putting together the volunteer crew that helps make the whole thing run. If you were around for REVOLT 2025, you probably saw them throughout the day, opening sessions, introducing speakers, keeping the chat moving, and handling the behind-the-scenes details that kept everything on track. That was our community showing up for the community. The role is pretty straightforward: help wrangle sessions, intro speakers, keep the conversation going in the chat, and jump in wherever an extra pair of hands is needed backstage. Interested in joining us this year? Comment below or send a DM and we’ll get you on the crew. We’ll take care of the rest, you just show up and be part of it. REVOLT is sponsored by Firmable Airspeed ZoomInfo TitanX

  • The AI era has made one revenue tech question a lot harder: What should you actually build, buy, or integrate? Revenue teams are adding more to their stack every week. AI agents, data and intent tools, engagement platforms, custom workflows, and everything in between. The challenge is making those pieces work as a coherent system. Every new tool comes with decisions around what needs to be built internally, what can be bought, how systems should connect, and whether the added complexity is actually worth it. That’s the conversation Tom Andrews and Chad Boersma from Airspeed are bringing to the REVOLT stage on October 14th. They’ll dig into how revenue teams should approach the new tech stack in the age of AI, including the decisions behind building, buying, and integrating technology, and how to create a stack that supports the way your team actually works. 📅 Wednesday, October 14th, 12 PM ET | 9 AM PT Brought to you by our REVOLT sponsor, Airspeed. Free to attend. Register via the link in the comments.

I'm deleting 10,000+ LinkedIn connections. Here's why: I hit the 30k connection limit (multiple times) and realized most of them don't see my content and I don't see theirs. The algorithm buries us to each other. I'm shouting into a void of people I haven't talked to since high school or past jobs. They're doing the same to me. So I'm trimming down to the community I'm actually building with - people in the trenches of revenue, growth, and go-to-market. Founders building the future of their spaces. It's not personal. It's about making this platform work. Resonance > noise. Progress: up to 7k people I've started removal process for. Bottleneck: I have a daily limit of like 60 to be safe. (Using LeadDelta to bulk remove because doing it one by one was brutal. No affiliation.) Community is the ultimate leverage.

AI is making a lot of marketing advantages disappear. Content is easier to produce. Campaigns are easier to launch. Research, strategy, personalization, AI is making all of it faster and more accessible. Mark Kilens 🦙 VP, Marketing at EasyLlama will moderate this conversation with Natalie Marcotullio Head of Growth at Navattic, Melissa Moody Founder at Wednesday Women, and Devin Reed Founder at The Reeder on “The New Marketing Moat: If Everyone Has AI, What Makes You Different?” Having the tools isn’t the moat anymore. The harder question is what you build around them that another company can’t simply copy. They’ll get into the things AI can’t manufacture on demand: trust, a real point of view, community, brand, and the human judgment behind the decisions that actually shape how a company shows up in the market. If every company can produce more, faster, what will actually make people choose to listen to you? That’s the conversation we'll be having at REVOLT. October 15th, 2026 | 3:15 PM ET REVOLT 2026 is free to attend. Register via the link in the comments.

This activation was one of a kind. Best I've ever been to. 150 CROs in the Dallas Cowboys stadium. Incredible hanging with the TitanX team as they unveiled their precision vision of gtm in the future. Came home with a custom jersey, a killer airport personal bag / gym bag, some leftover hand rolled cigars, and new relationships and ideas about the future of GTM. Hats off to Joey Gilkey , Evan Dunn, Justin Middleton , Colin Campbell 🏔 🚲 , Rob B. Anderson , Gerry Hill 🏌️🚀 and team. loved hanging with Don R., 🔥 🔥 Tom Slocum , Kevin "KD" Dorsey , Kris Rudeegraap, Jason Bay, Heath Barnett 🤙 , Chad Kitzinger , Rick Kuszewski , Ryan Wilson , Steve Burton. , Aurelien Mottier , Brian Birkett and so many more. The bar has been set all the way up.

  • Building an AI agent is getting easier. Getting it to actually run the business is a different story. The first 90% can happen in an afternoon. It’s the last 10% edge cases, business decisions, guardrails, testing, and figuring out whether something should even be an agent, that can take weeks. And that’s where a lot of AI projects get stuck. On September 29th, Relevance AI is bringing together leaders from Confluent alongside Paul Staelin, Chief Customer Officer at Relevance AI for a live customer fireside, Q&A, and demo on what it actually takes to move AI agents from personal experiments into production. Mike Y., Senior Manager of Applied AI & GTM Systems at Confluent, an IBM Company, and Erik Hagen, Director of Field Technology & Systems Strategy & Ops at Confluent, an IBM Company, will share how their teams approach: → Knowing when a personal AI build is ready to touch the business → Turning proven playbooks into agents that can actually run autonomously → Building each new agent faster by reusing what the last one taught you → Knowing what not to build in the first place → Starting small, limiting the blast radius, and scaling what works There’ll also be a live walkthrough of a multi-agent system and an open Q&A. If you’re past the “let’s see what AI can do” stage and trying to figure out how to make it actually work in production, this one is worth joining. • There’s something different about a room where nobody is there to give a presentation. Just a group of GTM leaders sitting around a table, comparing notes on what they’re actually seeing with AI. That’s what we’re doing in Austin on September 24th with Relevance AI as part of the AI Workforce Council. We’ll be talking about the things that don’t always make it into public conversations: → What AI workflows are actually making it into production → Where agentic systems are working, and where they’re creating more work → What teams have learned the hard way → Where humans still need to stay firmly in the loop The conversation is private and off the record, and we’re keeping the group intentionally small. If you’re building, testing, or deploying AI across your GTM organization, this is the kind of conversation that’s much more useful in person than on a LinkedIn feed. 📍 Austin, TX September 24th | 5:30–8:30 PM CDT Register via the link in the comments.

Your CRM is full of people who will never change jobs this month. But you’re still paying to check. That’s the weird economics behind a lot of job-change signal tools. You’re monitoring thousands of people because a small percentage might actually move, and the majority of the time the signal you paid for is simply… nothing happened. Andy Toizer, Head of Growth at Freckle.io, is joining us on September 24th to look at what happens when you flip that model around and only pay when something actually changes. More importantly, he’ll get into what you can actually do with job-change data once you have it, from getting in front of former champions at their new companies to finding other signals your revenue team should be watching. Because a signal is only useful if you can turn it into a reason to act. Thursday, September 24th 12 PM ET | 9 AM PT Free to attend. Link in the comments.
