Given my passion for all things health, I keep getting into all sorts of activities that I probably shouldn't, considering my age. Yesterday, the peakst8 team and I were trying a new hybrid fitness format called No Parking. It wasn’t as challenging as Hyrox, but it definitely wasn’t a cakewalk either. My heart rate shot up quickly with push-ups, rowing, sit-ups, and mountain climbers, while my teammate Deepak did all the activities that involved running😄 I'm excited to see how everyone else feels about this new format. We're taking this event live in Delhi on August 23rd with one8world. The idea here is to inspire more people to start their fitness journeys. The belief is simple: more people will start getting fit if fitness is fun. That’s why we’re creating multiple fitness IPs, all built around participation. The bet is that people start by taking part in these events, enjoy themselves, and hopefully that motivates them to begin their own fitness journeys. If you’ve been meaning to get fit, check out one of the Peakst8 events (link in comments).

One of the simplest ways to build a health & wellness culture inside a company is when a CEO, manager, and the intern are all involved in a fitness routine as a team. India should have a fitness meet where teams from different companies show up and cheer for each other. Like sports day we had in school and college. At Zerodha we've been building this culture for a while now and want to share it with other companies as well. peakst8 along with the team that does Hyrox and Ironman in India, have put together a new fitness race format that includes a bit of running and workouts, designed for teams but also beginner friendly. We're calling it- No Parking. The idea is to make fitness mainstream at the workplace in India. No Parking is coming to Delhi on August 23rd and we've 80+ teams already signed up. Founders, CEOs, HR- hope to see you and your teams in Delhi at the start line.

Here’s a short clip from the Peakst8 festival, people trying out the PongFox robot, many of them playing table tennis for the very first time. One thing Peakst8 got absolutely right was the attention to detail in how the event was designed. Thoughtfully arranged spaces and curated activities kept the audience engaged and made it easy for anyone to get a taste of something new. https://lnkd.in/gYad26fD peakst8 Dilip Kumar

I attended the peakst8 Festival thinking it would be a normal event where I would participate, enjoy, and go home, but it turned out to be much more than that. When I took part in the HYROX INDIA Challenge, I pushed myself harder than I expected and realized I had more endurance than I ever gave myself credit for. Even when my body felt like giving up, my mind kept telling me to continue, and finishing the challenge felt truly earned. The cardio party session was full of energy, with everyone sweating, smiling, and fully present. What made the event special were the people — 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 like Nithin Kamath 𝗮𝗻𝗱 Prateek Singh — who were not just talking about discipline but actually living it. One line by Jitendra Chouksey stayed with me: 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. I walked out 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗲 but grateful, feeling that fitness is becoming more than a personal goal — it is becoming a movement that can make India healthier and stronger.
