I couldn't be prouder of how the Middesk team showed up this year at Money20/20. When we kicked off planning for the event, Kate Young, PhD, CMP and her team took on the challenge of trying to create a space that would be inviting, engaging, and leave an impression. They absolutely crushed it! We turned our booth into a clothing store, gamified access to swag to spark engagement, and used the event as the jumping off point for the new Middesk Trust Club. Several hundred meetings later, we're leaving the week inspired and grateful for all of the awesome feedback and to keep building on the momentum. To everyone who stopped by, I hope you walked away with some great swag and an understanding of our vision for how B2B companies establish and scale trust. Extremely proud of the Trust Club campaign we launched this week. Money20/20 + Middesk #middesktrustclub Thank you to the over 500 friends that came to our booth to join the club. The conversations, compliments, and excitement over the space were exactly why we built this. What a week at Money20/20! The energy and conversations at the Trust Club made it one of my favorite events yet. This year, Middesk turned our booth into an experience built around one idea: trust is a lifestyle. The Trust Club was an interactive space for partners, customers, and new friends to connect, share challenges, and talk about what trust in business really means, while unlocking exclusive merch through different activities. After dozens of conversations, it was clear that many teams are facing the similar challenges: 💬 Manual processes continue to slow onboarding, underwriting, and proactive risk monitoring 💬 Operating in a heavily regulated environment where compliance and speed are often at odds 💬 Third-party data aggregators lack the coverage, accuracy and timeliness FIs need to grow confidently We believe growth and trust don’t have to compete. At Middesk, we help organizations instantly verify and trust who they’re doing business with. The Trust Club was a reminder that we all share the same goal to know every business, close the trust gap, and grow confidently. This year at Money20/20 hit different. It was such a pleasure to be back with the Codat team this year. Every year, this show brings inspiration, but something about this one hit a whole new level. From booths transformed into coffee shops (complete with mobile ordering) to Vegas casinos and mock storefronts, there was no single formula for standing out, which made walking the floor all the more fun. My takeaways & trends: Tiered swag: make people work for what they want, but make it worth it. Custom, custom, custom: people want something that literally has their name on it. Remember, we are our own favorite topic!! Happy hour competition is real: Vegas will always be saturated, so a strong theme or community-driven experience goes a long way. Shoutouts: To Taktile (and my sister Rachel Verrill) for co-hosting our night-one speakeasy event...so fun to be able to team up again! To Alloy for an unforgettable Women in Fintech Happy Hour: creative, memorable, and one of the week’s highlights. Yesterday at Money20/20, I joined Tiffany Haynes and Sasha Pilch for a conversation about speed, trust, and everything that happens in between when you're scaling go-to-market organizations. We talked about what it really takes to move fast without losing clarity, across product, marketing, and sales. Tiffany brought the operator’s lens, Sasha brought the early-stage energy, and I shared how we’re building momentum at Middesk through tighter alignment and intentional sprints that let speed compound instead of collide. It was one of those panels where everyone showed up with pure honesty. We’ve all done this before, and we’ve all gotten it wrong before, too. Scaling is messy by design; it’s an ongoing experiment in trust, clarity, and iteration. There’s no playbook for what any of us are building but honestly, that’s what makes it really fun and exciting. Thanks to Liang Zhao for beautifully moderating the conversation, and for everyone who joined us in the crowd. PS: we had a Britney Spears moment backstage (mics that made us feel like pop stars and some group power poses to bring the energy up).
