We’re proud to share the launch of Maryland.gov, a new digital front door for the State of Maryland. https://www.maryland.gov/ This work went far beyond a visual refresh. The focus was on clarity: improving content structure, prioritizing what residents actually come to the site for, and making it easier to find essential services, benefits, and information. Government websites work best when they’re built around real constituent needs. This launch reflects a deep understanding of how people interact with government, and how digital experiences can reduce friction instead of adding to it. As Gov. Wes Moore says in the announcement below, this isn’t just a facelift. It’s a smarter, more useful experience for everyone who lives and works in Maryland. 🎥 Watch the announcement video below: https://lnkd.in/gKjpDBVj

There's a certain freedom that comes from facing a challenge head-on. Got to jam with Brian Skowron recently on The Inflection Podcast Network and get to reflect on his early career experiences and how it's all led to where he's at - leading Lullabot as President. Podcast Link in comments

Design systems are finally getting the visibility they deserve, and the map shows how much opportunity still exists for states to build them. We're proud of the work we’ve done to build better digital systems, and we're excited to help more teams modernize.
The Digital Service Network released a really helpful interactive map that is a great visual of which states have had the opportunity to take their digital maturity seriously, and which still have some work to do. One thing popped out to me: only 22 states and territories have a centralized design system. After seeing the impact of Lullabot's work for Massachusetts, Georgia, and Iowa, it’s wild to imagine modernizing without one. A shared design system makes accessibility easier, reduces redundant work, and helps teams ship better experiences with less chaos behind the scenes. Not to mention constituents can find what they need and move on with their day! If your team is thinking about modernization in 2026, give me a shout.
