When one tab turns into many, Vertical Tabs keeps every tab title in view. Vertical Tabs moves your tabs into a vertical strip along the side of the browser, so every tab title stays visible. That makes it quicker to spot the page you need and easier to keep moving between tasks. With Vertical Tabs, you can: • Stack tabs along the side of the browser • Keep every tab title visible • Find the right tab faster Tab islands work with Vertical Tabs, too. Create and customize them as usual, and they'll stay intact when you switch between horizontal and vertical layouts. Also new in the Opera One browser: Google Lens in Opera just got a dedicated button on the start page. Search using an image to find the original source, identify objects, places or products, extract text, or learn more about what’s on your screen. Read more here: https://opr.as/259fdc

Cape Verde were never supposed to make Argentina sweat. Yet last week at the World Cup, a tiny island nation dragged the reigning world champions into a gruelling 120-minute battle. They didn't win the match, but they changed how the game was played. In tech, we face our own version of this - the "Messi Effect." The heavyweights have multi-billion-dollar ecosystems and the luxury of being pre-installed on billions of devices. It's the product equivalent of starting every match 1–0 up before kick-off. Playing a superpower at their own game is a losing strategy. When you're the challenger, you win on ideas, not size. At Opera, that's meant rethinking what a browser should do - designing for real data constraints, not ignoring them, and building privacy in by default rather than bolting it on. Dominance isn't the same thing as leadership. Sometimes leadership is just showing the giants a move they hadn't considered.... Full piece here 👇🏻 https://lnkd.in/d7qMhvZc

Start safer with Opera One. We’re introducing Paste Protect: A unique browser-native feature that helps protect users from suspicious clipboard attacks before they click paste. Clipboard attacks can happen when a malicious website tricks users into copying and pasting harmful commands, often through fake “verify you’re human” prompts. With Paste Protect, Opera can detect suspicious clipboard activity, block the website from copying harmful content, and show users a warning before it becomes a problem. This new feature is built into Opera One, which is activated by default, and can be managed in the browser settings under Paste Protect options. For now, Paste Protect is only available in Early Bird. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/ekiFfk37
