Media over QUIC (MoQ) brings ultra-low latency and massive scale to live video, auctions, and real-time apps without the pain of managing server fleets. Last year, we opened our network for open MoQ testing. Today, we're taking it a step further with the launch of the MoQ Provisioning API. What’s new: 🔹 Isolated Relays: Create a delivery scope across Cloudflare’s global network in seconds—no virtual machines, containers, or load balancers required. 🔹 Access Controls: Issue separate, scoped tokens for publishers and subscribers to keep your streams secure. 🔹 IETF Support: Full support for draft-14 and draft-16 of the MoQ spec, enabling features like pre-fetching (PUBLISH) and dynamic namespace tracking (SUBSCRIBE_NAMESPACE). We’re also working within the IETF to help standardize this provisioning model across the industry. MoQ relays are free to use during our public beta.
