The Top 100/400/500 Survey is used to rank the Top 500 Design Firms, Top 400 General Contractors, Top 100 Design-Build Firms, Top 100 Construction Management-at-Risk, Top 50 Construction Management-For-Fee Firms and Top 50 Program Management-For-Fee Firms (and the for-fee combined list), as well as Architectural Record’s Top 300 Architects list.
The list covers U.S.-based engineering, architectural and environmental design firms and all U.S.-based subsidiaries of non-U.S.-based engineering, architectural and environmental design firms.
The list covers U.S.-based general contractors and all U.S.-based subsidiaries of non-U.S.-based contractors.
The list covers U.S.-based firms that provide both design and construction services, either on their own or in partnership or joint venture with other firms, under a single integrated contract.
The list covers U.S.-based firms providing construction management services where the firm provides CM services while taking full legal and financial responsibility for delivering the project.
The list covers U.S.-based firms providing construction management services either on an agency or fee-only basis.
The list covers U.S.-based firms providing program management services on an agency or fee-only basis of construction programs of more than one project for the same owner or group of owners.
The Sourcebook Market Survey ranks U.S.-based and all U.S.-based subsidiaries of non-U.S.-based design firms and general contractors in a variety of submarkets. These Sourcebooks are only available in digital editions.
The Green Buildings Survey ranks U.S.-based design firms and general contractors as well as all U.S.-based subsidiaries of non-U.S.-based design firms and general contractors on revenue earned from projects officially registered with a third-party “green” rating group.
The list covers U.S.-based engineers, architects, and other design firms providing Green and Sustainable design services.
The list covers U.S.-based general contractors providing Green and Sustainable contracting services.
The Top International Survey is open to design firms, general contractors and construction/program management-for-fee firms based outside of the U.S.
The list covers engineering, architectural and environmental design firms from around the world.
The list covers contractors from around the world.
The Global Sourcebook Market Survey ranks design firms and general contractors from around the world in a variety of submarkets. This Sourcebook is only available as a digital edition.

The list covers U.S. -based specialty trade contractors and subcontractors.
This list is compiled not by survey but by a review on corporate public data compiled for and published by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The regional surveys are separate from the national surveys and launched at slightly different times.
