The US is facing an ammunitions shortfall due to heavy use in Operation Epic Fury in Iran. According to the defence department’s inspector general, the conflict has resulted in a shortfall of US munitions and “bottlenecks” in supply chains as the Trump administration works to replenish weaponry.
The BBC's Gary O'Donoghue explains the shortage and what it could mean for US military readiness in the future.
