Today, we announced that the Royal Navy is using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Roving Edge Infrastructure to power AI-driven defence. The mission is at the edge. The Royal Navy needs to store and run sovereign data in highly secure environments while maintaining operational control. By using OCI Roving Edge Infrastructure to run Whitespace’s integrated sovereign AI capability, the Royal Navy can take advantage of sovereign AI capabilities aboard HMS Prince of Wales, whether in national waters or deployed abroad.
