We make natural nut butter & tasty snacks. Founded by Pip. Proud Certified B Corp with 10% of our profits go to charity.

About us

Nuts, nuts & nuts again. & spreads & snacks & sometimes squirrels. Started by Pip & her kitchen blender, we're here to put the nut back in nutrition - so far, so good: we're the UK's No.1 Nut Butter Brand, the biggest driver of cereal bar category growth this year & we've got loads still to come. The big secret? We let our nuts do the talking. Packed with protein, fibre & monounsaturated fats (the good ones), we use the best nuts for the job. No palm oil. No unnecessary extras. We like our food full of real & recognisable ingredients, & you will too. As a Certified B Corp since 2019 (www.bcorp.com), we think all businesses should have a conscience. Whether it's giving 10% of our profits to The Pip & Nut Foundation (www.pipandnutfoundation.org), investing in regenerative agriculture, or pushing for progressive people policies, we'll always put people & the planet alongside profit. We'll also always be honest when things haven't gone to plan. If you want to know more about all things natural nuttiness, being one of The Sunday Times Best Places To Work or making the best squirrel puns - you're on the right page. Toodle-Pip!

  • We’ve got strong feelings about food. & even stronger feelings about our food. That’s why we boil our high standards down to five rules. Some call it a Food Philosophy, we prefer a ‘Good Food Guide’. The idea is simple: if it doesn’t meet every expectation, it’s not meeting the shelf. No compromises. No exceptions. Just good old fashioned accountability. The rules in question: 1. Nut obsessed - nuts have to be the No.1 ingredient in everything. 2. Taste first, always - the food we make has to score at least 6/7 in taste tests (that’s really good). 3. Positive nutrition - everything we make is (at least) a source of fibre and can support a balanced diet & lifestyle. 4. Real food for real people - our ingredient lists will be as short & simple as possible: full of real, recognisable & naturally derived ingredients.  5. We do better by the planet - no palm oil, ever & every ingredient must pass our sustainabillity assessment. The Pip & Nut Good Food Guide is a 50+ page internal document. We want to start making it more external. The GFG, as it's known on Slack, covers the ins & outs of what we think about food, why we think it & what all of that means for what we make. Basically, we’ve got a lot more to say & we'll be digging into these 5 rules in more detail over the next 5 weeks. As we start sharing more about food & nutrition, what would you want to know about our food focus? Do any of those rules surprise you? Drop us a comment to let us know.

  • Pip & Nut | B Corp reposted this

This summer, we went against the grain of what the majority of big FMCG brands do. Instead of taking away from our products, we added MORE. More nuts, to be specific. More of one of the most expensive ingredients in our products. At no extra cost to our consumers. Why? 1. To deliver on Pip & Nut | B Corp mission to put the nut back into nutrition. (We are called Pip & Nut for a reason.) 2. Nuts are a source of protein. High in fibre. Full of good fats. More nuts = more nutrient dense. 3. Nuts taste great. We pride ourselves on taste, and by adding more nuts we packed in more flavour. So, for the past 12 months, we’ve been tweaking some of our recipes. And we can now officially say that NUTS ARE THE NO. 1 INGREDIENT IN ALL OUR PRODUCTS. To celebrate, we’ve proudly plastered it across our snacks to keep that commitment front and centre. Ultimately, it’s easy to erode the quality of your products to drive cost efficiencies and margin. Bulking them out with cheaper ingredients, making them smaller, reducing the quality of the ingredients you use, etc. But it’s so short-sighted. Instead, I’m a believer in IMPROVING our products and adding MORE VALUE. In doing so, it helps justify our premium. And it means we can spend less on marketing because people come back again & again & again because the stuff we make tastes so damn good. We hope you enjoy our newly reformulated, even nuttier products.

  • Last week, our Head of Innovation Kitty took part in the JEDI MATTERS Collective panel "Showing up for our queer colleagues" at CARAVAN COFFEE ROASTERS | B Corp™, a conversation about what it actually takes to help LGBTQI+ colleagues bring their whole selves to work. Reality check: a lot of businesses stay quiet on this stuff and stick to their own lane. We'd rather learn, and show up. Alongside three other panellists, Kitty spoke openly about the cost of masking, what allyship actually looks like day to day, and why policies only work when they're shaped by the people they're meant to protect. A few of the key takeaways from the room: - Allyship is a verb, not a noun - Impact matters more than intent - Small things (asking pronouns, correcting yourself when you get it wrong) aren't small at all - Policies mean nothing without the culture to back them up Huge thanks to Benali Hamdache, Miles Rhys E., Jane Devlin Grammer and host Paora Durie for the honesty and energy, and to Ross Walker and Caravan for opening up the roastery for it. Thank you, Kitty, for showing up and speaking up.

  • Cue the happy dance (the squirrel kind, obviously) - we're the The Food and Drink Federation SME of the Year 2026. 🏆 The numbers, because we know you like those: 50% YOY growth. £37.5m in retail sales. 2 million households. & the No.1 driver of total market cereal bar growth YTD (yes, we found a way to sneak that in again). Built without palm oil. Without cutting corners. Without ever forgetting why Pip started mixing nut butter in a kitchen in the first place. Massive congrats to the rest of the SME of the Year shortlist: Bio&Me I B Corp, Black Label Creations, Daymer Ingredients Limited, HECK! FOOD LIMITED and The Gym Kitchen. Brilliant, brilliant company to be in. And big shout out to team Pip & Nut. This one's for all of us. Every jar, every bar, every spreadsheet that got us here. • Do you spend more time than the typical person pondering how to build governance infrastructure that makes sustainability operational? Or how to connect sustainability commitments to measurable financial and operational outcomes? Or how to close the internal alignment gap between sustainability ambition and the execution strategy required to act on it? Then you're in the right place. & your brain must be tired. Our Chief Squirrel Pip is speaking on a formidable panel at the Reuters Events Sustainability Europe 2026 next month about exactly those things. We'll see you there?

  • We’re still a B Corp. Don’t be fooled into thinking this isn’t newsworthy, it very much is. Our B Corp Recertification is actually bell ringing, celebratory pub trip, hi-five each other newsworthy. So, what did we score this time round? Trick question - we didn’t. & that’s the whole point. We’re one of the first 20 businesses in the UK to recertify under B Lab’s new standards. In this next generation points are out, and excelling in every area of responsible business (namely: Climate Action, Purpose & Stakeholder Governance, Environmental Stewardship & Circularity, Human Rights, Fair Work, Government Affairs & Collective Action, and Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) is in. If you fall short in one area, you fall short of B Corp. While in the past the point system meant excelling in one area could make up for a shortfall in others, this new, independently audited process means companies need to prove their better business-ness across the board. We can’t lie, it made the process this time round a little trickier, but we fundamentally believe that’s a really good thing. We’d like to dive deeper into all things ‘next Gen B’ and our recertification - but we want to make sure it’s useful for our community. With that in mind we’d like to hear what you want to know. Whether it’s thoughts from our Supply Chain & Sustainability Director Adam Thompson, a look at what the standards are for a business of our size or what we found more challenging vs. previous recertifications - comment down below what you’d genuinely be interested in. Whether you’re a business considering joining, a founder questioning if it’s worth it or just a nosey scroller - all thoughts are welcome. Get commenting, or forever hold your peace. Finally, a big thank you to our friends at Seismic for helping get here. & a HUGE congratulations to our fellow new standards B Corps: Belvoir Farm, Butternut Box | B Corp, Colart, Exodus Adventure Travels | B Corp™, Explore Worldwide | B Corp™, Finisterre, Fluvio, Fussy, GF Smith, Huel, Lily's Kitchen, Medik8, MPM Products Ltd, Mulberry England, St Eval | B Corp, Streets Heaver Healthcare Computing, Vivobarefoot, Wanderlust Life and Gorman's Restaurants Limited.

  • Starstruck fans have swarmed the TfL network this morning to catch a glimpse of superstar Cyril the squirrel in real life. With Pip & Nut popping up across London commutes, TV screens, supermarket aisles & social feeds - where won't that bushy-tail be spotted? P.S. That's what we like to call a 360 rollout.

  • Thousands of votes were cast. Hundreds of opinionated comments read through. Hours of tallying totted up. Only one name could win. With our next campaign round the corner, and our squirrel ready to leap back onto TV, it was finally time to announce the winning name. Naturally, we did what anyone else would in this situation: threw a deadly serious, not at all out of place, squirrel naming ceremony in the middle of Shoreditch for the Pip & Nut team & anyone else sat in Arnold Circus. See the full result of our hamming it up here: https://lnkd.in/eJyDpFpb. Thanks to everyone who got involved in naming our squirrel. We knew people would have thoughts, we weren’t quite expecting them to be so strong. Such is the power of a good mascot. So, with Cyril’s name being officially unveiled, and our second TV ad burst going live, this marks the start of a new era for our shining star. We have big plans for Cyril over the next three years, and Pip & Nut for that matter. The name is just the start, but you’ll have to stick around to see where we go next… Dramatic.

  • NOT MISSING ANYMORE. Remember when we posted about the missing squirrel? We’ve found it. It’s on your TV, along with everyone else’s. Catch our newly-named mascot, Cyril, starring in ‘The Nut Drop’, our award-winning ad, as it returns to UK TV screens today. Critics have hailed the performance as ‘bushy-tailed’, ‘charmingly chaotic’ & ‘where can I buy that peanut butter?’ (In all major UK supermarkets, online, in Belgium & probably an independent grocers near you). While we can’t comment on award season buzz, we can confirm this second TV burst of 2026 is set to be seen by over 26 million people, around 4.52 times each. Dare we say box office hit? To make sure we don’t need to run around London with missing posters again, we’ve lined up a string of trade, community & OOH comms to keep Cyril’s face in lights everywhere you look. More on that coming soon… If you fancy getting the song stuck in your head before you’ve had the chance to see it on TV, you can watch the ad as much as you’d like here: https://lnkd.in/eKfEv-b6. IMPORTANT CREDITS:  Created & Directed by Ali Dickinson Produced by Scary Robots Put onto your screen by Squadron Venture Media Obsession by Pip & Nut Co-starring P.B. Jar.
