How Nscale automated GPU fault diagnosis and remediation across the fleet, from burn-in at data center turn-up through to day-2 operations. Warren Ahner, VP of Site Reliability Engineering at Nscale, has the full write-up. Read it here: https://lnkd.in/eP4nMZJe

Enterprise AI isn't stalling on compute. It's stalling on trust. Jeff Denworth, Co-Founder and CRO of VAST Data, puts it simply: "If the organisation can't trust what they're doing, then they're going to fear moving forward as fast as they should." The full conversation covers what actually breaks in distributed AI deployments, how to build sovereign AI infrastructure without creating silos, and what the agentic era demands from your data architecture. Watch the clip. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/e8_-iZas

Fidji Simo has been appointed to the Nscale Board of Directors. Fidji has spent the last few years at the frontier of AI, most recently as CEO of AGI Deployment at OpenAI. Prior to OpenAI, she served as CEO and Chair of Instacart. She joins a board that added Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker and Nick Clegg earlier this year. "Fidji is one of the most accomplished product leaders in tech, having built products used by billions of people around the world. Very few leaders understand what products at that scale demand of the systems underneath them. That's what we're building for at Nscale." — Josh Payne, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nscale Read more: https://lnkd.in/ehN8XT-S

Diagnosing a faulty GPU node has traditionally been manual work. Inside Nscale's Fleet Operations it happens on its own. If a node fails validation or degrades in production, full testing across compute, memory, networking and storage typically starts within seconds. The likely cause is often identified before the first alert requires action. Warren Ahner, VP of Site Reliability Engineering at Nscale, on how the fleet diagnoses itself: https://lnkd.in/eP4nMZJe

Nscale and Figure, a humanoid robotics company, have signed a multiyear strategic partnership with the potential to deploy up to 100,000 NVIDIA GPUs. With an initial commitment of $3.5 billion of compute, Nscale will become both a Figure shareholder and their preferred compute partner. “We’ve seen incredible growth with inference and agentic AI and Figure is pushing the boundaries of AI even further,” said Nscale Founder and CEO Josh Payne. Nscale is a title sponsor of HumanX Europe. Join us September 22-24 in Amsterdam. We will also be hosting the Startup Reception the evening of Thursday 24. If you're training or serving models at scale and want to talk about what full-stack infrastructure actually looks like underneath that, book time with the team: https://lnkd.in/e-SWThKv

In AI infrastructure, capacity is the easy part to quantify. What it produces is harder. Teams stall before production when they can't get a first workload running, properly factor in what it will cost, or scale it without needing to start over. That abandoned work is capacity that never gets consumed. Daniel Bathurst, Chief Product Officer, on where growth in this market actually gets decided: https://lnkd.in/eftZWytE

Time to first token (TTFT) has become a useful signal of full-stack AI performance. At RAISE Summit, Nscale's Kristin Zwez joined NVIDIA's Rod Evans and VAST Data's Jeff Denworth to discuss why TTFT now sits at the center of AI infrastructure design. The conversation explored how inference is reshaping the relationship between compute, storage, networking, and memory, and why improving TTFT depends on optimizing the entire AI stack rather than individual components.
